Flint licked her nose and started bounding off. He looked back to see if they were following and smiled.

Lea smiled and continued running

Flint slowed so he could run next to her. He smiled at her and looked ahead. He then said, "I'm sorry, I acted like a love sick puppy." He shook his head. "I want to be friends with you either way. I wasn't seeing the other side of me that I really was. Oh, and sorry for bringing it up." He ran close so his fur brushed hers and then separated.

Lea smiled at him. "Hey no biggy!" she said. "Im just glad to have you as a friend and whichever she wolf is to become your mate, shell be very lucky!" she commented, swishing his back with her tail.

Flint kind of wished it was Lea, but didn't really care as much. Though needed her to promise, "You promise we'll stay friends? Even if you don't pick me?" He gazed in her eyes quickly.

Lea smiled and licked his cheek "Of course!" She said smiling. "I'll love you as a friend!"

Flint smiled happily, "Good. I'll miss you if you didn't promise." He looked at her. "Ever fall in love with some one you've known sense you were a pup?"

Lea rolled her eyes. "There was only one other wolf ive known since i was a pup and he bacame my mate before i joined the pack..." Her eyes looked down as she brought Sam up again. She shook it off and looked at Flint smiling.

"I was going to ask her to be my mate and then I decided to let her go," Flint said and looked at her. He didn't bring her story up. "Then I fell in love with some one else and I'm willing to let go. Now I would ask her to be my mate, but then I don't want to be love sick if she goes for the other male who loves her." He wanted to keep it anonymous. Though didn't look at her.

Lea smiled. Somehow she knew whho he was talking about at the end. But she didn't say anything. "Well whoever she is will be lucky!"
