Buzzard ran with Lea, making sure she was there every step of the way. "Run!" he shouted and howled to the pack.

Buzzard looked back at Flint, "Stop!" he barked.

"We should hide," Sugar said with a small smile. She wanted to talk to him, but be in safety.

The hunter heard Buzzard, but thought it was Flint. It was too late for Flint to run and he knew this game. He lunged at the Hunter with all his might. The hunter fell and dropped the gun. Flint had knocked the wind out of the man and ran to the gun, picked it up and darted away. Flint was smiling and raced past Lea and Buzzard. Then ran for the river and threw it in. Then raced towards the two, "That was so cool!" He smiled and his eyes wide with hyperness.

Flint smiled, "I don't do it all the time. Only when I want to get myself from being down." He wagged his tail. He looked at Lea and he had cleared his mind. "I probably wouldn't do it again, but Buzzard called and the hunter thought it was me." He then looked at buzzard. "that's not nice." He was still smiling.

Lea began running. The huntergrew closer to her. She panicked and tripped over a log.

Flint saw Lea trip and got in front of the hunter. So that he was between them both. He crouched and growled. then lunged at the man again and growled at his face. The let him up. The man back away as Flint growled at him. then saw him flee. Flint turned and looked at Lea with soft, kind eyes, "YOu ok?"
