Dziki's head snapped in the direction Yang had walked off in when he'd let out the howl. She looked back to Jake, "I'll wait with you until Jude comes, then I'll go back to camp. I have a feeling the pups will be coming tonight."

Larka stopped and looked out of the bushes.Scar was lying on the floor.Scar's family had just killed Conan,the one she had fallen in love with.Now she would kill the one Scar loved,Wing.

Scar leapt to his feet. "The exiled returns! Quick... er,..." he fumbled for a name. "Want to prove yourself worthy? Kill her with me!" Yin rushed after Larka and had to catch her breath when she saw her son. "Scar," she said softly. Scar smiled broadly when he saw his mother but said nothing.

Yang slowly walked back to Jake and Dziki. "I-its Artemis.... he's dead...." he whispered quietly. Jake stood up to nuzzle Yang but Yang just shook his head and sat down. Feeling awkward Jake sat down to. "I'm sorry Yang."

Larka snarled and sprinted into the trees.She hid in an old badgat set so Scar and Yin woulsnt catch her scent."Ill kill you Wing"she whispered bitterly.

Yin followed Larka into the badger sett and shook her head angrily. "No, no you won't because I'll kill you!" she snarled. Scar heard his mother's snarl of fury and ran towards it. "Larka you're outnumbered! Give up!" he growled. "And, get off my territory," he added.

Wing watched everything happen in silence. By the way that Larka had stared at her aggressively, she knew that Larka was going to try to kill her. "Scar," she murmured, eyeing his parents, "Larka wants to kill me, I know that, because your family killed Conan. She loved him, you know? Now she wants to kill the one you love...me."

Dziki lowered her head and wrapped her tail tightly around her, "I'm so sorry, Yang." She whimpered lightly and looked from Jake to Yang. "I should head back to camp and make sure everything is alright there," she said lightly. After a lick to Jake's muzzle she stood and slowly padded away.
