Ace backed away slowly from the humans that had chosen him and growled. They only smiled walked away. He rode in a small cage in the back of a huge truck on his way to their house. They let him out of the cage to get used to the house. They let him out side. They didn't have a fence and the back yard was huge. He walked tnthe front of the house, looked around to see if the humans were there, still wearing the color, and ran towards the city and out of the country.

Zara lay in her new comfortable bed snuggled and warm. Her humans were fine companions. No loud noisy human pups. It was only a young male human. Just moved out from his human parents and into a house. He was kind to her and fed her lots of fresh taste food. He'd pet her and talk to her even though she never understood a word. He'd smile at her and give her treats and pamper her. She had her bed right in front of the once cozy warm fire. She wasn't as miserable as she thought she would be. She only curled up and thought to herself, maybe living with a human isn't as bad as she thought it would be.

history: Born among a Russian family, he was raised up to a few months, before being kicked out of home. He wandered away, into a different part of New York City. On his way, he got hit by a car, and while no bones were broken, his muscles and bones were injured in such a way that his growth is stunted, and he walks with a painfully obvious limp.
