Croft dug in with every step to keep his pace and heave the sleigh forward, muscles warm and well toned for his place. The sleigh lightening under the speed he was able to find his rhythm and flow with it. Not a thought in his mind, other than keep his ears sharp and eyes open. Error was not an option and sleigh only feet from his hind quarters he knew any screw ups, and he and Brigs were first to pay the 'heavy' price.
