Sandy has finally passed us, phew. Don't know if we have school tomorrow, but probably not.... at least I hope not.. my homework and tests and quizzes are crazy. We had things due and tests today and Monday, so I doubt that they'll throw it on us tomorrow if we have school. They'll probably give it to us on Thursday. In NYC they don't have school for the rest of the week... or so I've heard from our wind-up radio. Has it hit you guys yet/already?

Fly signed and watched Bacaire and Angel walk away with a sense of forboding in his eyes. He knew he could never love Angel fully if Kaley was here, and this would've happened anyway. "Wait," he snorted. "I want to go to the High Herd." the stallion snorted, daring Bacaire to retort, but he looked to Kaley to see what she wanted to do. Turning away, he looked at Kaley. "Or we could just go, now. That way, towards the ocean." Considering they are in Montana or something and can travel up to the ocean... my geography sucks XD "What do you want to do, Kaley?" he added, tipping his head.

(Yes sandy hit us I had no power at all yesterday five plus hours in the dark and today my power is still gone. I had no school in the past two days and maybe none tomorrow! Where we are...we were so close to having a Halloween in the snow,I a, on my nephews iPad at their house cause they never lost power XD)

So far, we have school tomorrow because we havn't gotten anyc alls saying we don't. But it suddenly got ominously dark again... so I better go do my algebra homework before our power goes out again.. if it does O.o

(Up and over here in Indy we havent' had any crazy weather, just rain and a lot of wind! Don't die out there guys and I hope you don't have school! haha)

Kaley glanced at Angel and quickly looked down, feeling terrible and guiltly for the mare. She saw the sorrowful glances the Angel gave her and missread them as jealousy and sadness at loosing a mate. When Angel and Baciare started leaving she accepted the fact that the High Herd would find out sooner rather than later. She wanted to go after Angel and tell her she was sorry but she couldn't. She just looked at the ground, counting the blades of grass at her feet. (If Fly ever cheated on Kaley im pretty sure it wouldn't happen again lol.) Kaley was startled at Fly's wish to go to the herd. But she was excited by the idea of going to the ocean. She had heard of it. It sounded like somehting that she would love it. It seemed like it had a lot of her personaluty. (And since Poseidon, the ocean god, also created horses I think it fits lol). Kaley stepped towards Fly and spoke to him quietly but excited. "I feel like I need to go to the High Herd. At least to tell my foals where I'm going." Her voice quieted and the fire in her eyes dimmed with sadness. "But after that we can go to the ocean! It sounds thrilling" She said with a smile her eyes brightened again, though still with a hint of sadness.


Liberty realized she was looking up ,slightly, at Windsong. Darn this shortness She thought to herself rather vainly. At least I can pull of being short with my attitude. If I was short and had a passive attitude it would be lame. She thought absentmindly."Well, for now we are probably just going to stay here until uor father feels the urge to move." She rolled her eyes like a perfect teenager. Liberty realized that she was glad that Windsong was there. It was fantastic to have a mare around who was her age. Besides her brother of course but he was a stallion and was rather serious for Liberty's taste.

Baciare trotted on, her ears swiveling around. She couldn't wait to bring Angel to the High Herd. Perhaps they would switch mates? HA! That's be a fun sight...she thought to herself. She shrugged. Although Stammer wasn't the best mate. She threw her head up, scolding herself for saying such mean but true things. "I think you'll like it there at the High Herd..." she said quietly, looking over to Angel reasurringly.

[Arabian.]

Lol. No school tomorrow either, probably Thursday though

Fly nodded and watched Angel and Bacaire until they became small and then he started to trot forward. "We can start over. All over. Or we can go there and back, we don't need to leave forever." he murmered softly, swishing his tail as he trotted after Bacaire and Angel. He had no idea where the High Herd was, but by their lingering, stale scent they were headed in the right direction. He turned his blazed head to look at Kaley, and he broke into a canter, the wind whisking his mane back. He braced himself for the worst, and if he died he knew Kaley would've gone with him and was able to tell her he loved her. A group of specks lined the horizon.

Windsong looked at liberty and nodded,
''Hmm....yeah..seems bout right. Everything is the stallions way.'' she chuckled joyfully

Kaley smiled as Fly murmered to her, his voice soothed her and it sounded nice and manly. "We can figure that out as we go along." she said as she trotted after him. She gleefully lept into a canter, as she did so she forgot all her worries and just ran with her main and tail whisking out behind her. She bucked happilly before she saw the line of specks in the horizon. Then she sobered down and thought about what she would say to Liberty and Patriot. And Stammer? She wasn't sure what to do about him.
