"I don't know Stammer. He is just different from you. I promise I'll never mate with him or join his herd or any of that. He is just different. He is less serious than you." Kaley said quietly. Unlike Stammer, her voice wasn't steady. It fell and rose. She was worried and was full of emotions.

[Hazza]

He creased his brow. 'Serious?' that word hung into his mind and thoughts. "Why so Serious Stammer?" The other foals would ask and tease him. It was a stupid thng to be mad about now... But it made him angry. "You don't like serious?" He asked cocking his head to the side. But then he realized, of course she doesn't. No one likes serious. He always did have a fun side... But that barely ever came out. Even his siblings had never seen it more then once or twice in a year. He lowered his head."Oh I see. You think, that it's okay to leave because you want To have fun? You think it's okay to leave people worried sick about you? You think it's okay to hang around with a crazy for mating stallion? You think it's okay?!" Stammer said, his voice rising. "You are a herd leader now. Horses lok up to you. If you are leaving every now and then so will the others. Do you know how easy it is to have something or someone taken away from you? Do you know how much it hurts when they are?" He asked, pausing. "Kaley. Grow up." He said staring at her, his glare was secured onto her eyes even as his blood dripped and the rain fell. "If you really don't love me and you don't want to be with this herd... With me. Then say it to me here. Now." He said, now, his normal emotionless voice was filledmwith hurt and sadness. Nothing else. It was so easy to tell.

"But I do like serious, Stammer.." Kalry interjected quietly and then listened to him. She didn't say any thing sfter he finished. She looked down and away as he spoke. She flared up slightly when he told her grow up. She raised her eyes to his and stared back. "I'll stay with you as long as you want me." She said with an edge on her voice. "Horses don't look up to me. They look up to you. Youre the big lead stallion. I'm just a little red mustang. I haven't gone through all of the pain and loss that you have, so i know nothing of how you feel." She paused, her breathing growing heavy. "I left my family okay? I didn't care enough about them to stay. I'm cold, heartless and uncaring. You should find some one who will be more caring and will love you and give you beautiful,strong and powerful like you." She said, her voice breaking and with pain in it. She didn't want to leave Stammer. He just seemed a part of her now. Tears started to fall and she turned her head, ashamed of her weakness. She stoodthere with her head turnd away, waiting for Stammer to speak.

Stammer sighed. "I remember an old friend asked me, why do you pull the cart like the dumb oxen." he said thinking about the past. "Do you remember that Kaley? Do you remember when you asked me that? I do." He said quietly. "Remember when you kicked at me and cussed? Because I do." He whispered, "Kaley, I love you very much, you mean everything to me. And losing you to a second rate stallion instead of a first rate stallion like myself, is very painful for me to think about." He added, a little laugh at the end. "I want to be with you Kaley. You are strong and powerful to me, maybe not to everyone, but to me you are. You are everything to me. The sun, the moon, the light, the meaning," he said standing there silently as he tried to find the moon in the darkness."I don't want any other mare but you." He said. His tall body stood in the rain as the moon shined behind him, showing his silhouette.

Kaley pulls her lips back in a snarl like way when the stallion speaks to her. She tries to lunge at him, to bite him and tear him apart for stealing her freedom from her. But she is caught but the ropes and she is only able to jerk her head and neck forward, not even close enough to bite him. The humans load her into a cart that the stallion pulls quietly. She is tied down so she cannot leap out of the cart and gallop away to freedom. She could only kick the sides of the cart lightly and throw her head around, but it hurt to do that so she quit. "What did I ever do to you? What gives you the right to steal my freedom from me!" She neighs and screams at the stallion. "What kind of horse are you to help the humans steal us from our homelands? How can just pull this cart as quietly as the dull and stupid oxen. Why...?" She broke off, her voice harsh and broken from emotion. Then she laid there quietly, too weak and heartbroken to fight.

Flow snorted and swished her tail. She trotted into the herd, the merge in. She started grazing next to some mares, happily. Every now and then she'd flick her ears as noises were heard. Flow was happy that soon she'd have a foal, but a little bit confused about what Pierce had said. ''I dont know how well he'll treat yours when it's a new born!!'' The words repeated in her head.
"Oh shut up!" Flow moaned to herself. She shook her head, trying to be rid of the horrible memory.

Blaze grazed happily, wondering what her foal had gotten into.

Poppy was so adventurous. Everything she saw that was interesting, she'd investigate. Poppy skipped along, admiring the beautiful hills. "Wow! I want to grow up and be a mare..." The filly said to herself.

Firefox whinnied loudly, waiting for a mare to reply.

Fly trotted after Pie. "Of course you'd be a good mother" he whispered, nuzzling her. He looked up at Flow, he had to talk to her too later. He gave her a comforting and slightly apologetic look before turning back to Pie. He tipped his head, curious and concerned why Pie had said what she did.

::Cloud | Stallion | Anybody have a free mare? : )? |::
Cloud snorted and cantered away back to his herd. He could smell a mare's heat scent, a Fly. He rolled his eyes and grinned slightly to himself. 'That's my brother' he thought, laughing to himself. He laid down by a tree and and flicked his white ears.

::Abberveil Dream | Dream | Mare | With Thunder |::
Dream snroted and raised her head. She hadn't known it ahd started to rain. She laid down under a tree and curled her front legs underneath her. Her brown eyes were half closed and she swished her tail, which was already getting muddy.

::Athena | Mare | Striker? |::
Athena snorted and neighed loudly, trying to catch the attention of Gabrielle. 'What's she doing now!?' she thought, flicking her red tail and tossing her head. She flicked her silver ears, the rain already bothering her.

Jay turned around. She walked back up to Risk and glanced from his face to the ground. "Don't be sorry, Risk. Really, you did nothing wrong, I was just... mad, that you didn't really care. But I understand now, I feel the same way, and I still want to be friends. But I was also kind of.. jealous. I saw Pierce looking at you and then you said how you were oging to mate with her and then I was really confused.." she nickered softly. "But I do still want to be friends." she nickered, slightly smiling. She nudged his shoulder with amusement and grinned.

Secret nudged Angie and then turned to Axel. He pointed his tan muzzle towards a bush and trotted up behind it. It was dry enough to lay down comfortably. he flicked his dark brown tail and waited for Angie and Axel.

Kaley smiled and chuckled at the memory. Her heart warmed and fluttered as Stammer spoke. "I love you too Stammer." She said and blushed at what he said. "Thats really sweet. I don't want any one else either." She smiled up at him and was proud to calm him hers. His silhouette showed off his tall,strong body. This was the Stammer she had been missing. She had no doubt at all that she loved him. She knew she did and would never be able to leave him.
