The brute wagged his tail. "You lead, I'll follow." He glanced at Millie and Kiyra. "I will see you to later," he said to them, winking.

Edme nodded and led him into the forest. She held her head high as she walked, knowing she had just a bit of power over him. Her 2 best friends, after all, were the Alphas. She grinned back at him, her eyes soft.

She licked his shoulder and walked out of their hidden bush.

"Yes. But it looks like even if Sawbit got picked, Nicka would have found a way to get Rome as the Alpha. Who would you pick for the Alpha male if you were Alpha Female?" he asked, his eyes suddenly soft.

Rome smiled at her and walked at her side, their pelts brushing. When put together, Nicka was small in his shadow. Rome stood over her, his frame strong and big, but he wasn't fat. He was just large. Always had been. He walked with pride, but not because he was Alpha. Because, in his eyes, he was walking side by side with the prettiest Fae in the pack.

She focused her flinty eyes on him. "If I was the alpha," she replyed, "I wouldn't need anyone by my side. I am independent and I don't need a brute trying to tell me what to do." Her words were spoken matter of factly, like she had it planned out for a while now. "But I don't..." She trailed off. "Never mind." She turned away from him again, wondering where that bout of courage had come from.

"What'r you all smiles for?" Sawbit asked Edme as he trotted up next to her.

She walked with him, feeling truly perfect for the first time in her life.

"No, what were you going to say?" Kyto wanted to know.

Sienna turned her head as the pup sat down beside her. She gave a polite smile and simply answered with the shrug of her shoulders. "Faolan, would you want to go hunting? Anything left we could bring back to camp. " She questioned in a soft voice, her gaze focused on him for the time being. The female had her head tilted to the side ever so slightly as she awaited their response. " Maybe we could teach Adara. " She suggested, nudging the pup's shoulder gently. To her, pups were adorable, fragile animals. And it seemed like it may be fun to do that. But she didn't want to push the brutes limits. He had already been kind enough to show her to a place to get water, plus he had just taken them to the gorgeous waterfall. If that was all he had wanted to do, she was completely fine. He had been the nicest one to her so far, and she appreciated that greatly.
