Sadi was returning from her hunt - carrying a few rabbits in her jaws. Her den would be warmer now, and she was happy about that. As she passed the stream, she saw Blake, and tried to grin at him but failed utterly, dropping one of her rabbits. As she bent down to pick it out, another one slid out, and then the other, and try as she might she could not get them all into her mouth again. A hot blush stole across her face, though she couldn't understand why.

Kai nodded, and shrugged. "It's perfect. Now -" He nipped her on the ear playfully. "What do you want to do?"

Ryme touched her nose to his. "If we must," she murmured, eyes sparkling.

Blake raised his head and ran his tongue over his jaws. "Need help?" he asked the flustered fae, leaping over the stream in one bound.

Achak

Achak saw Goldie standing near the entrance of camp. "Hello Goldie." He said to the tiny Fae.

Goldie

Goldie jumped into the air. Come on! It's just Achak! Quit being so paranoid! She scolded herself. "Oh. Hi." She muttered.

"No, no - I'm fine." She said, trying to keep whatever dignity she had left. By now she had lost all of them and they lay about her in a mess. She sat down, and a prickly feeling went down her back when she looked at him. She grinned, and chuckled at the rabbits and the mess she had made. "Sorry." She picked them up, carefully this time, and managed them all. She smiled and flicked her tail in thanks, and marched off. As soon as she was out of site, she ran for her den. Dropping the rabbits in the corner, she sat and stared at the ceiling. What is wrong with me?

"Let's go down to the stream." He said, looking at Ryme to make sure she agreed.

She pushed her nose into his shoulder fur. "Go to the woods?"

Achak

Achak smiled. "Gosh Goldie you sure are jumpy lately!" He laughed. "How are you and Kori getting on these days?" He added, hoping Goldie knew where she was.

Goldie

Horrible! She's so rude! "Fine." Goldie lied. Before Achak could ask anything else she walked back into camp.

Zynia

Zynia walked out of the den, followed by the two jumpy pups. Their tails going 100 miles an hour. Wow, Firali was right, hunters did good today. She plucked a rabbit from the pile and set it down. Duncan pounced on it. They began to eat and in no time it was gone.

Kaori

No one was around. Ha! I'm the only one who's not lazy! "Where is everyone she yelled. With no answer she added. "Ugh you're all so lazy!"

Colby padded into camp, the young buck hanging from his jaws. On the way to the fresh-kill pile, he passed Goldie, looking a bit flustered. He dropped his prey off, nodded to Zynia, smiled at Duncan, and trotted back to the young fae. He couldn't stand to see pups alone or mad. "You ok, kid?" he asked Goldie, tilting his head.

Ryme got up to stand next to Kyto. "Only if you can keep up, hunter," she barked loftily. "What with your bum paw 'n all." The brown-furred fae looked at him, her flint-gray eyes sparkling.

Blake looked after the fae, head slightly tilted. "Hm," he grunted. What's up with her? Shruging, he got to his paws and shook out his still semi-matted coat before slowly padding back to camp. The brute looked at his paws, remembering how Before he couldn't walk far before tripping on a small bundle of fur or two. Sighing, he slipped into camp. Blake approached the fresh-kill pile and tore the leg off a deer. A few paces away he went through the motions of eating it, not really tasting the meat at all, while he watched Zynia's two pups.

Sadi perked an ear at Kaori's call. She smiled to herself. Somehow she knew that she and Kaori would be friends. But not today. She peeped out of her den, and saw Blake eating meat and staring into the distance. She turned away. Maybe she was on heat early or something. She shook her head. No. She glanced back into her den and turned, grabbing the rabbits she had killed. Tossing them onto the fresh kill pile as she walked past, she perked her ear again for Kaori's call. maybe being with a fae like her would be good after all. She trotted in Kaori's direction.

He looked down at her. "I think I can," He murmured and touched his nose to hers.

Zynia

Zynia glanced at Colby, who had nodded at her. Blake was looking at her pups. "Hello Blake." She said in a friendly voice.

Goldie

Goldie looked up at Colby. "What? Oh I'm fine." She glanced in Achak's direction to make sure he was gone. He was.

Achak

Achak shoke his head, a little bewildered. What a strange little pup! She had just run away, no reason at all. He had just tried to be nice! He quickly left camp and called, "Kaori!"

Kaori

Annoyed that everyone was being so lazy she walked back to camp. She thought she heard something. She listened again. Her brother, Achak was calling for her. "WHAT?" She screamed in her loudest voice.
