Sesame nodded. To be honest, she was felt a lot better. "But i dont get it, i have dealt with stress before. Fighting a bear while i an avalanche, running out a stampede while chasing a canyon hare. A hunter's duty deals with a lot of stress...."

Shade chuckled. "Just like him, you don't realize that you're in love. In that condition the stress is doubled since you think about how worried he is for you. Natural thing. Am I not right?" He stood and dropped the herbs back in place. "I'll be further down the healer's den if you need me," And like this he exited by the entry way that did not leave him face to face to Kalous. However, he didn't know Kalous had been in the shadow of the den, watching.

Sesame sighed. What did she know about love? "He...loves me?..." she stared at the ground.

Kalous wanted the ground to open and eat him at the instant. Hidden by the shadows no one could see him, but he had witnessed the whole scene, and guessing by her words and her expression... she didn't like him. The simple idea that he may be in love with her seemed to perturb Sesame in his eyes. It was very similar to what happened to him before. She'd used him to get closer to Talekov? No, couldn't be... However, her reaction told him that she had him friend-zoned, no thing else. But all those... He fought an internal battle. Just like Tianah... He shook his head, anger rising. Taking a deep breath, he denied everything. What about those hints... She never saw me as something else... I should have know better! After all, I did make that stupid vow.. and look what came of me when she came my way! But... why...?Sighting, he growled to himself. Then before anyone could notice, he ran off into the night. Why had I been so stupid!

Sesame's heart throbbed as she realized how kalous had been feeling about her all along. "Now i see...i...i have always loved Kalous...but....i...i...i didnt realizxe it untill now..." she swaw kalous suddenly streak out of the cave. "Kalous!" she shouted, desperate. The smile that had sprouted as sshe had realized her feeling s for him left her face. Had she hurt him? She got up as quickly as she could and ran after him a ways, but suddenly her side throbbed in pain. She gasped, and fell.

He turned momentarily at the sound of his name. It was Sesame. He stood there, frozen. He yearned to be there next to her. To comfort her and protect her. To be her only love... but it wasn't possible. She didn't love him at all. However, even though she called to him without speaking, he was frozen.

'I love you,' she licked my muzzle. 'Kalous, I've always loved you!' I nuzzled her. Tianah smiled at me with adoring eyes. 'I always loved you...' she said softly.
'I know..' I managed to say, before giving her a light kiss in the lips. 'Will you be my mate?' I asked. She looked around as if scared, however, I didn't see what was it that had her like this. 'You've always loved me... will you be my mate?' I asked again.
'No.' But it wasn't her voice. It was Sune's.n I looked behind me to see him.
'I love Tianah. And she loves me, don't you?" I turned slowly, realization hitting me.
'Is it true?!' I asked harshly. 'Is it true!?!'
She gulped and said nothing. Sune laughed behind me. 'She'd loved me all along. It was just that I started paying more attention to Luna and she got jealous. But that's how fae's are.' He laughed. 'Tianah, you know I love you and that I ask you to be my mate.'
As I turned again to watch her, Tianah was halfway walking over to Sune.
'I'm sorry...' She said. 'But I had to do something.' Sune licked her ear and she looked away, embarrassed. 'Sorry.'
'You played with me! Fooled me!' I shouted, angered.
'You let her do that and believed it.' Sune said. 'It's your own fault.'

Kalous growled at the memories.

Sesame felt her breathing grow heavy. But she managed to get one word out between breaths. "Kalous..." She tried to get up, but fell down again. Her head slammed against a rock, and she yelped, which knocked the breath out of her. "Kalous..." she whispered again.

He couldn't help it anymore. There was nothing else in the world right now. In two long strides he was already by her side resting his forehead against hers. "I'm sorry," He said silently. Slowly, he positioned her into a comfortable position resting against a big rock. Then, he howled, calling Shade. He gazed back at her, his soul almost broken to see her like this."I'm sorry..." he said again. "Sorry for bothering you..." His voice trembled a little and he didn't dare meet her eyes. He turned, and although in that moment he felt himself being broken, he started running into the forest, far from her.

Shade heard the howl. Running into the empty den, he skipped past and went straight for where Sesame lay.
