He looked away quickly, hoping that she hadn't notice him watching her. "Uh, nothing. Go back to sleep if you want..." He lowered his head between his paws.

He shook his head. "Nothing to say." Now he stood and stretched his muscles, yawning. Be bold. Just like you practiced for years before. Don't let her get to you. He told himself.

"you aren't wondering how i can sleep comfortably up here, instead of coming back to camp every night to sleep with the pack? Now are you?" she chuckled. she could see right through him. It was way to easy, and he was trying too hard. "I know you better than that, Kalous."

Talekov nodded. "I guess you're wondering what that was about."

Raine looked surprised at Newton. She hadn't spotted him there before. "Nothing's bothering me. Sorry for waking you up," she said, as she layed down, ready to sleep too.

"Well not exactly, but I would like to know" Leela said smiling, sweetly.

"How could you...?" He stared at her for a moment. She'd easily found out what he was thinking.

"Well," Talekov took a deep breath. "Raine, not my sister but near/best friend, got away from camp when a thunderstorm was taking place, and then we had to search for her." He sighed. "But I'm used to it anyway."

Leela nodded "I completely understand, it's difficult"

Talekov yawned. "I think I'm going to sleep," he said. After this long day, he felt drained of energy, and if tomorrow had to be as difficult, he would make sure to be prepared enough.

Leela smiled she asked "There isn't enough room in the den may I sleep with you?"

"Uh, sure.." He didn't know how to answer to this so he shrugged before starting to pad to the den. He entered and lowered himself near the entrance. This reminded him of the time he'd nursed Phoenix and had to guard all alone.
