"We found Raine.", said Circe happily.
Cochise nodded, "I'm just glad you are all back safely sis."


Newton walked into the camp and looked around. Not knowing what to do, he headed for the fighter den.

Kalous followed her again, now wary. She was acting strange now, and he knew something was wrong.

She padded up the path leading to the overhang.

That spot....was right where i got caught in that avalanche....that feild just behind that thin row of trees... Right now, she wanted to get as far away from that spot as possible. She never went there anymore. She hadnt been across that tree line for a year.

"What's wrong?" Kalo asked, coming to a stop. He didn't like how she'd gotten quieter and quieter. He padded over to her and stood across, blocking her way. "Tell me." He demanded.

Now Talekov had to deal with Raine. "Raine?"

She'd been standing silently not far away. "Yes?" He gave her an inquiring look. "OK, I know, I know. But it wasn't my fault." He gave her that same look again. "Yes, it was I who got to far away from camp. I get it. Shouldn't have done so, won't happen again. I promise." Talekov grinned.

"It won't happen again, I promise." He added. "From now on, you won't go around without being watched. At least for a while. I'll choose who later on."

"But..."

"Look, I've been very busy lately, and you always end up in some kind of trouble. Just understand that I don't have time to go around like we used to." He gave her an apologizing look.

"And for this you have to assign me a baby-sitter?" She turned and walked into her den.

He could only sigh. Fae's were so hard to deal with.

"Its nothing. I got caught in an avalanche in that spot the same day i was shot by the hunter last year. i spent the whole two weeks in outclanner territory...just healing time.

He took a step closer. "It's nothing? You almost died!" He was worried all over now, forgetting what he was determined at first.

I was watching it from the top of the canon wall. my paw slipped, and i fell right into the stampede. I regained consciousness later on the evening." she said. She didnt even flinch at that memory, but kept a straight face, looking forwad as they headed up the trail.
