Amelia let out a yelp as she tumbled to the ground. She floudered to get back on her feet, limbs kicking wildly.

Riley shreiked. The mean foal knocked over her new friend! She charged at her, eyes blazing with rage.

Gia laughed happily, dancing to the side, out of her way. "Hahahaha-ha!" she sung, grinning.

Ryan noticed the foals, and decided quickly to intervene. 'That is enough!' he declared. He pushed Riley to the side. 'Go back with the other mares, both of you,' he instructed Amelia and Riley. He turned back to Gia. 'I told you to leave,' he said.

Gia bared her teeth. "You can't make me, you think you're so much better just because you're older!"

Ryan raised an eyebrow. 'I don't think I'm better than you. I think you are threatening my foals, and I won't have that,' he said simply. 'Who's your mother?'

Ryan was surprised, but kept his cool. 'I want to talk to her,' he replied. 'Do you at least know where she is?'

"N-no," Gia murmured, lowering her eyes. "But..." she sighed. Sending Ryan an irritated look, she turned and ran off, back to her mom, hungry after her day of play.

Athena glanced up, hearing hoofbeats, and was relieved to see Gia, her angel daughter. "I missed you so muc, I was so scared," she murmured, and Gia simply grunted, ignoring her.
