Elaire walked quietly along the horizon, she lifted her head and sniffed the air. The musky scent of stallions filled her. She flattened her ears, her eyes darted, looking for any signs of them. She pawed at the ground, before trotting in the direction.

[mindless.]

Distance, bored, decided to meet Elaire. She took to her side, easily keeping up. "Hello." She whinnied.

Elaire looked over at Distance, feeling a genuine, soft welcome. Elaire nickered back, "Hello." she replied, turning to gaze at her over her shoulders, "Are you a loner also?" she asked.

Distance nodded. "Yup. Not really one to join a herd." She chuckled, continuing along.

Elaire looked at her, "Oh, Has a stallion tried to court you yet?" she asked, "I am not much of a fighter, or a herd type, but I guess I cannot do much." she said, continuing to walk, "I smell some around here.".

"No, I have lived with being ignored since I was little. Not really a social type." She smirked.

Elaire nickered with a laugh, "Me too, I'd rather..." she stopped, What would I rather do? BING! Elaire snapped out of her thought, "Tease them?" she asked, was that what she meant, "No I mean, mess with them, yeah. Have you done it before?" she asked.

"I've done that before. Come on!" She chuckled, galloping off.

Elaire smiled, before galloping after the mare. She toook her side and showed a happy smile.

"I'm Distance." She added, nodding.
