Spirit laid his head on her neck. "I'm not leaving."

Spirit nuzzled her in concern. "Are you going to be okay?" he asked, kinda nervous...he'd never seen a mare give birth, really, and he was scared.

frost nodded she layed on the ground panting heavily

Ryan trotted over to his mother and the new stallion, looking at him curiously. He approached cautiously, not sure what to do. Jade looked at Rymth with a look that could kill, but made no move to stop him. 'Who's this, mom?' Ryan asked. Jade eyed her son for a moment, and sighed. 'Ryan, this is your... father,' she said through gritted teeth. Ryan's eyes lit up at the words and closed the distance between him and his father with a confident bound. 'Hello, father,' he said. The thought that this stallion was his father amused him. He seemed so sure... so strong. It puzzled him why his mother was being so acidic towards him.
