Harkuru let out a heavy sigh and lowered his head. He watched her movements from the corner of his eyes and when she was close enough, he slipped back under her and picked her up. "If you're coming with me, then you aren't walking." His tone was cold as he said it but he was also biting his tongue when he lifted her because his right shoulder shot a pain through his body unexpectedly.

"Put me down! I can walk fine!" Cherokee said, annoyed.

Balik padded out of the camp hunting...but he wasn't hunting prey.

Harkuru ignored her tone as padded towards the camp. He wouldn't go into the clearing for he didn't want others to see him. "I'm not putting you down just yet. I'm going to take you back to camp." He said after he got the pain under control. He would do as he had told her he was going to do without showing any affection, loyalty, fear, pain or any emotions what so ever.

"Put me down I say!" The fae said as she growled a little. She want mad, just annoyed.

Soon they arrived near the camp and that's when he lowed his body and slipped out from under her. He looked at her and then turned padding away into the trees. He wasn't going to fight with the female if it wasn't nescisary. Even if he was one not to fight with a female wolf in the first place, he wasn't about to start with Cherokee who proclaimed her love for him. If she hadn't done so, would he fight with her? No. Only because he wasn't the kind of wolf to raise a paw at a female no matter what they've done to him or anyone else.

Cherokee sighed and tried to follow him, but Balik caught her by the scruff.

"You are coming back to camp, missy." He said as he made her go back.

Harkuru watched from the shadows and then bounded off on his quest he took the liberty of having. A low growl escaped him as he followed the scents of the large cats back into their territory and to the base of the mountains. He knew that the cats would have to leave Denali unguarded to check if there were any more humans about and to catch prey so he waited in the shadows until then.

"Hey Raven, look who I found." Balik said as he followed Cherokee into the healers den.

Cherokee stood there annoyed.

Denali was resting in his cave.

Raven looked up and when she saw Cherokee, she quickly covered the lynx kit up completey with her bushy fox-like tail. "Oh Cherokee! I'm so glad you're alright. Balik and I were worried sick about you. Taking off like that and then hearing the hunters, we couldn't help but worry." She exclaimed keeping the young lynx cub a secret from the female wolf since she didn't know if Cherokee would try and kill the kit if she found out or leave it be. It wasn't harming anyone to begin with.

"Harkuru saved me..." She said softly. She limped to a bed and collapsed.
