He let out a silent sigh and then rested his head down as his paws. He watched her now through half closed eyes. They weren't red anymore for he had calmed down so they went back to normal. "You gave me quite a panic." He said still looking at her. He placed his head between his paws and held back a yawn as much as he could.

"Harkuru, thank you for saving me..." Cherokee wispered as she closed her eyes and fell asleep at his side.

Denali hissed silently as he watched the hunter carry away one of his best fighters.

A soft sigh escaped him as he moved his head back onto his paws. His body now ached more than ever and he was letting it take over as he slept.[/b]

"The gunfire is gone. I hope those two are alright..." Balik said, thinking out loud. He padded back into the den and nuzzled his mate.

The lynx cub was hiding from the loud noise the guns had made.

Raven tried to comfort the small kit but it didnt seem like anything she did helped. "Im sure they are alright. Cherokee is an exellent fighter when need be." She said trying to reasure both after nuzzling both her lover and the kit. She feared the worst but she also knew that they wouldn't go down without taking atleat one human's life.

Another hunter walked by their hiding place, unaware of the two wolves. He left the area quickly.

Balik nodded.

The lynx kit calmed down a little.

Raven looked down at the kit and licked its head. She was worried for the poor little thing. The gunshots still echoed in her ears so she laid hem flat against her skull to try and get rid of the noise. Harkuru knew not of the other hunter as he slept.

"How are you and the pups doing, love?" Balik asked as he looked at his mate.

The lynx kit hissed at Balik and swiped a tiny paw at him.

Raven looked at him and smiled lovingly. "Just fine, my love." She looked down at the kit and again licked its head trying to calm the little furball down. "Now, now. There's no need for that anymore. He won't hurt you now that you're with me." She smiled at him with affection showing in her blue eyes. Besides, she wasn't going to let Balik or even the lynx cub fight each other over a small quarle they had back in the forest.

Balik smiled and nuzzled his mate. He smirked when the little lynx sent him a glare.

The little lynx glared at the brute but smiled at Raven.

Cherokee awoke some time later and tried to get to her paws.
