A New Beginning (Wolf rp accepting!)

Basil finished his share and raced off
"Come on!" he called.

Shadow followed his son after eating his own share. He looked back waiting for Isabel.

Isabel raced after Shadow and Basil.

Zara stopped to clean her wound and watched the dawn sun for a moment before padding up a hill, she reached the top and just stood there, a silohette on the hill. She spotted the Dawn Pack's den and saw her mate and pups although she knew they couldn't tell it was her on the hill about a mile away. So. She done the only thing she could to grab their attention. Zara lifted her head to the skies and howled, loud and clear.

Isabel barked in surprise when a huge howl almost split her eardrums had hadnt yet formed completly. "Dad, someone else is here. I reconise that howl though, who is it?" she asked.

Shadow smiled
"She's here." Her mumered "Come on!" He raced ahead leaving the pups behind, he was soon next to his mate brushing his body against hers.
"Your alive!"

Basil relized what his father was on about and tried to keep up but fell behind.
"Mama!" he called out hoping she could hear him.

Isabel overtook her brother on the way there but soon fell back and raced alongside Basil. "Mama!" she called.

Zara smiled and loped the last few metres to Shadow, she brushed her fur against his as he did hers, she looked in his gogerous eyes. "You won't get rid of me that easily" she said, a smirk on her face. She laughed when the pups practically threw themselves at her, she bowed down and cuddled them close.

Isabel snugged against her mothers fuffy chest. "Never do that to us again, dad was a pain!" she said firmly and zara chuckled.

"Its true!" Basil yapped jumping up at their mother "He blocked the den entrance last night so we couldnt get out!"

Shadow nodded slowly
"I had to do it so they would wait till morning when it was brighter and easier to see."

Zara pulled Basil close and then released him to look up at Shadow, a sympathic smile on her face. "Then im glad he did, you both need to learn more fighting skills more we let you out on your own" she said and licked Shadow's nose.

Isabel hid a grimace when her mum licked her dad nose.

Shadow smiled and said
"There is food at the den."

Basil scrwed up his eyes when his mother licked Shadow then his eyes brightened at the thought of food again.

"And no Basil, that food is for your mother."

Basil shrugged and bounced around his mother
"Where did you go?"

Zara saw Isabels and Basils reaction and laughed. "You wait till your our age!" she laughed again and smiled up at Shadow. "Its ok im not hungry despite my journey" she reassured them. "If you behave Basil perphaps ill tell you later" Zara told Basil.

Isabel grinned and bounded off. "Great! Come on then" she called.

Zata stood and followed.

Basil raced after his sister tripping her over as he dashed ahead. He smiled happy to feel the wind in his face as they raced home.

Shadow chuckled as he watched Basil
"He will be a great fighter one day."

Isabel dodged Basil with ease.

Zara padded beside Shadow back to camp, a slightly worried expression on her face. "He most definitly will be" she said.
