I smile and lick his nose. Cobalt gives the signal and I start following him. It feels kind of awkward, now that we're mates. I go off and find Pumpkin when we reach camp and tell her the news. :D

After Shadow finished his new den he went out to find Zara, who he found at the lake
"There's somthing I want to ask you..." He trailed off.

Sage smiled and walked back next to her.

I yawn, tired from all the walking. I can get really lazy, and today is one of those days. I lick Sage's cheek and silently trot off to my den and lay down in the soft, grassy bedding. I bury my head in my paws and smile to myself, happy and amazed.

Sage smiled happily. He sat down.

Zara was sitting by the lake when she heard and saw Shadow approach, she was puzzled by his face. "What is it Shadow?" she asked confused.

"Well the pack only has three pups and well..." Shadow felt awkud about saying the rest of it.

Zara knew exactly where he was going, she jumped away from shadow as she burst out laughing. She calmed down and stood up facing shadow, grinning. "I thought males were the brave ones" she said softly and walked over and licked his nose (wolf talk a bit). "Only if you want them, I won't have pups if you don't want them" she said softly.

Shadow gave a slight nod of his head,
"Wolves arnt properly mates until they have a family."
