Seven looked down at the ground it was dry and hot outside and every step she took felt like four, she looked up at the sky not a cloud could be seen anywhere as she let out a long sigh she flicked her tail at the flys that were now out and attacking her eyes.

Ace couldn't stand still she was trotting around the small band trying to out run the manying flys, she was getting mad and sweat was dripping on the ground, she wanted it to rain her belly was starting to get a little bigger with the foal she had inside of it.

Wings couldn't stop laughing at the other mare and she trotted trying to get away from the flys.

Blaze was standing still she hated the sun and it made her angry.

She shrugged. "Well, I suppose you're not that bad, so what the heck, I stayed." She gave a very small, almost nonexistent smile.

"Thank you. And, well, I was born here." Zorin looked at his hooves. "I'm glad you like it."

(It's okay, we can pretend she did get covered by him.)

He saw the small smile. "And your not bad at all." he said, from when he first spoke with her, though she was stubborn, he never though of her as bad. Comet laughed at Ace. "Ace stop, all your doing is wasting energy." the black stallion said though he was annoyed with the flies also.

"But there everywhere" Ace sighed as she slowed to a brisk walk, she was breathing heavy and her belly was starting to hurt she didn't like how big it was getting.

Gayle looked around. She was lonly.

She glanced at Ace and chuckled silently. Her ears flicked. "We should head down to the watering hole; we could all use a drink," she commented.

"Your right." Comet said and looked at all the mares before returning his gaze to Senja. "Lead the way." he told his lead mare slightly laughing at Ace's comment.

Ace ears perked up and she started into a gallop all the way into the watering hole, the cold of the water made her sigh as she dunk her head right into the water getting the flies off of her. Ace looked funny with her head under the water.

"Really?" Goldie responded, "Your parents picked a lovely spot. I was born quite a distance from here. It was like this only the plains were grassy without any sight of mountains or forests."

Shady felt the foal in her grow larger by the day. She wondered when he was going to be born. She grew excited for the day her foal was arriving. She had seen other mares complain about preganancy but in truth, she enjoyed the prospect of being a mother.
