Oil looked up at him "hmm.. no." he said and smiled slightly at the larger male "but what were you saying?" he asked and tried to move a little closer without getting noticed. Oil just wanted to be close to Johaan and feel his body heat that radiated off of him. His eye looked up at the sky then at Johaan again, waiting on him to respond or do something.

Oil nodded and smiled "I'd love to walk with you." he said quietly and pressed his head against Johaan's chest "if I had an assigned mate, I'd want it to be you." he whispered before moving away and looking up at him with his head tilted cutely, waiting on him to start walking or speak. His ears lowered and he looked down embarrassedly as he suddenly realized how he was acting "I'm so sorry, Johaan.." he mumbled.

‣johaan raised his ears in surprise at the male's sudden touch. johaan flattened his ears shyly, blushing a bit at his comment. his ears raised when the male lowered his head in shame of what he said. "oh, don't be sorry" johaan smiled as he touched his nose to oil's head. "i'd be lucky to be your assigned mate as well."

Oil slowly looked up at Johaan "wait.. what?" he asked quietly and smiled slightly "y...you would?" he asked again, his tail wagging happily. ‣ johaan nodded with a smile on his face. he chuckled as he trotted after oil. "don't take off without me!" he teased as he trotted up beside him. he stood close to the male as he walked beside him, his fur touching his sometimes. johaan felt nervous for some reason, he never felt nervous with any of his previous flirtation attempts. he was so anxious he didn't even look at oil, he just looked at the scenery. everytime oil was in his eyesight, his heart raced.

Oil smiled and hummed lightly in content "so how has your morning been?" he asked and looked over at the larger male in interest. His good eye was bright with happiness and his tail swayed happily, sometimes accidentally brushing against Johaan's back leg or tail. He felt a small amount of nervousness eating away at him but he tried to ignore it for the time being.

‣johaan made himself look at oil, even though it made his chest feel tight. "it's been great, better with you." he winked teasingly as he playfully nudged him with his shoulder. johaan was now aware of oil's feelings, though he wasn't quite sure what to do about it. johaan surely didn't mind being his mate, even if he was an omega. but what would the pack think? johaan wouldn't care if he cared about oil enough, but johaan knew he'd be ridiculed.

‣johaan managed to hear that comment and he flattened his ears. "aw, screw what the pack thinks!" johaan huffed. "if they wanna talk, let 'em. i want to hang out with you and the pack can say whatever they want about that, it's gonna come out the other ear!" johaan held high head high, trying to bring confidence to the omega. he hated seeing the male beat himself down;
