Raven

He froze at the site of the mare, lifting his head he snuffled the air then tossed his mane shaking himself again he whickered softly gently at her. He trotted forward slowly and lowered his head when he were few yards away snatching a few mouthfuls of grass chewing slowly as he watched her through his fetlock. He lashed his tail taking in the mare before him, studying her intently, definitely interested but waiting for the moment to see what she would do.

Sky had begun to graze on the lush green grass, keeping a close eye on that stallion. She turned her head to look at him, her forelock falling in front of her eyes. She snorted quietly and turned her back on him, which probably wasn't the best idea in the world considering she was in heat. Eh, oh well, he was bound to catch the scent sooner or later. She set off at a brisk trot, her tail swishing.

He snorted catching that oh so familer and tantalizing scent, he neighed a bit louder now and stamped a hoof into the grass cutting it up as he trotted forward his neck arched as he called to her moving on her flank he nipped gently at her hunches trying to at first entice her into joining him.

Sky gave a low nicker, kicking out with her hind legs before picking up her pace into a steady gallop. After she advanced a good distance she wheeled around on her back hooves, and stomped her hoof. She glared at him coldly, eyes narrowed into slits. She hated the fact that there wasn't much she could do to help herself.

Raven lowered his head putting his ears back giving her a soft whicker before moving in again giving her one last chance to do as he was asking willingly. He snorted and lifted his head before prancing around her muscles moving smoothly under his fine coat, his neck arched muscles standing out brilliantly in the cool spring sunlight. He called loudly tossing his head to the heavens before stopping and gazing at her with ebony black eyes.

Sky's upper lip peeled back to give her a menacing visage. Her tail lashed like a whip behind her. He was... handsome, she admitted, but she wouldn't base her actions off his appearance. Her eyes never left his, and when at last he finally stopped circling her she took the chance to bolt again, this time using some real speed.

He blinked in surprise and let out a soft whicker at her departing form, then if horses could grin he probably would of at the moment and hurried after her, to interested to just let her go, for now though he was willing to play chase.

He called to her gallantly blinked realizing he must of sounded like a complete idiot he put on a little more speed and just kept her in sight.
