Ginger curled up with Scarlett, Bruno, and Robin in her den, missing the two other parts of her family.

Aleks was still standing there and hadn't notice Scarlett had walked to Ginger's den. He ignored it and left, never to be seen again.
Pastel was still crying a little, but she was mostly content. She had food, and a warm Mom to keep her comforted, also that strange fox was now gone,
Scarlett began crying loudly for she could tell one of her siblings were gone. She didn't know which one, but she could tell.

"I know, I hate it too," Ginger said, and licked Scarlett's head.

Moon lied her head down with her Chloe and snow next to her in the warm sun. She nudged her other kits go suckle.

Scarlett looked up at Ginger, her ears perked. She realized Ginger was talking to her, she understood what she said but she didn't know how to respond. She let out a long, sad sigh and rested her head on the cold ground. She watched out the den to see if Pastel would come back.

"Pastel hates me… she has a new Mama," Ginger sobbed, and nuzzled the kit.

Scarlett looked at Ginger again and got up, she was tired of hearing crying. She stood outside the den and lay down, closing her eyes. She lay in the warm sun, Scarlett fell asleep immediately.

Moon licked the kits she knew they were growing fast and she was happy she could save pastel.

Ginger tiptoed out of the den, it was too early for Scarlett to be outside, she grabbed the kit, and took her back to the den, and tried not to cry over her lovely kit, Pastel.

Pastel let out a tiny cough and snuggled up to Snow and Moon. She didn't like these kits much, but they were her sisters. She slowly fell asleep.
Scarlett began crying, and walked back out again. She closed her eyes and listened to Ginger crying, she had enough of this. Aleks came out of the woods, he spotted Scarlett and picked her up. He began running away, never to be seen again? Who knows
