I bit my lip nervously.

Otto looked at Ellory once more before looking at the princable as he explained to us that we were all suspended for a day.

Panic rose in my throat. Mum and my brothers would kill me. Suspended on the first day of school. I got down on my knees in front of the principal, clasping my hands together. "Please sir, I promise you, we're not troublemakers. It won't happen ever again." Kyle rolled his eyes and mumbled something that sounded like, "Stupid Brit."

Otto shot Kyle a dirty look.

"No ma'm I'am going to have to. It's the law." he said handing her a book of the school rules.

I quickly flipped through the book, at last finding my last shred of hope. "Sir, in section three, paragraph 2, lines 1-4, it states that a student may be let go with a warning if their grades and status allow it. Thus being, I am a straight A student and it's my first day here. Please, I hardly ever get in trouble." I handed him the book, my eyes pleading.
Kyle smirked at Otto.

Otto rolled his eyes and gave him a dirtier look.

The princable, just ignored her. "No. Starting tomorrow you'll not come to school."

Kyle smirked even more. He'd get them back, both of them.

I hung my head, defeated. "Yes sir," I whispered.

Otto kneeled down next to her and stood her up, along with himself. "Yes sir." He said to the princable.

Kyle held in a laugh. Suspension for a day? Pfft. No big deal. He walked out of the office.

I walked out, numb with shock. Suspended. I was suspended, and so was Otto, all because of me and my stupid tongue. Perhaps watching myself would be a solution.
