The teacher gave us worktime for whatever we wanted, so I took out my sketch book. I carefully started to draw out a tree.

Hm. Freetime. I liked this teacher. I got out my half-done picture of a hummingbird and started coloring it in.

My tree was extremely detailed, even to the bark lines and tiny moss clumps. I smiled proudly at it.

I took my pencil and started to shade in the tree. A shadow of it fell across the page, and my hair fell across my face.
