Asael turned to the pair "So whereabouts are we headed?" he asked politely as he twisted round to face them, a light contact still held in Eliors mouth so he wasn't annoyed but the clanking bit "Remember I'm the new one and if we get lost its not my fault" he joked,reffering to the fact he was ahead of who knew the trail.

Drew and Chad

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

"Just stick to the trail," Drew grinned. "It leads to a lovely little beach and takes about half an hour. Any clue what time it is? If it's late enough, we might be getting there at sunset." Chad nickered gently to Elior, reaching his head forward to see his new friend. Despite being so calm, Chad was a social horse and often panicked when not in the presence of others.

Asael nodded "That sounds great, it's about half five now and sundown is around six-ish" he informed with a wide grin. He hadn't been riding on a beach since he left Ireland, his fond memories of racing his old pony Bailey up alongside his fathers hunters over the sand was enthralling and spine tingling all the same. And now he had Elior, who had never touched sand in his life, apart from the arena surface sand .

Elior blew softly to Chad, ears lopsided as he watched his new friend draw closer, playfully nipping towards him before lifting his head high and tossing it about, prancing slightly but reacting to Asaels calming words. Elior then whinnied happily and snatched at some long grasses growing by the side of the trail, munching contentedly as his tail swished with his flanks.

Knight didn't answer at first, just stared off in the distance. He was thinking over what she had said, and was thinking of every possible thing that could happen. "Would he let me." He whispered, looking back directly at Ebony, "I mean, earlier today. You know what I mean." He tensed up his muscles, wondering if he could truly be with her and stay near her all the time.

Rebecca Sanders

It hadn't took her long to fall asleep, she hadn't even got in her pajama's, but laid on the bed with her photo album open beside her.

The first rays of light filtered through the curtains, slowly Rebecca rolled over, looking at the window. "Good Morning..." she said quietly to the world. After laying there for a moment she got up, showered and dressed, and then she pulled her hair back. She was ready to get out to Slick.

Quietly she snuck through the long hallway, she didn't want to wake anyone. When she reached the entrance room she slipped her light denim jacket on. Quietly she unlocked the door and slipped out, once there she took a big breath and started for the barns. She was slightly in a hurry, for she wanted to see the rest of the sun rise.

Her low whistle penetrated the air and Slick called sleepily. He hung his ebony head over his door, his nose vibrating slightly as he nickered. "Mornin boy!" she whispered to him. She opened his stall and led him out. Slick happily followed her, delighted that she had finally came and got him. She walked around the house to the fields she had saw from her window just as the sun was splashing it's morning colors over the tree tops.

"Oh, Slick. This is a beautiful place..." she sat down on the lush grass while Slick grazed off to the side. She had never seen such a beautiful sun rise. Everything in her new life seemed bright for the moment.

Drew and Chad

"Great!" Drew cheered. "We'll be just in time." He resisted the urge to ask Chad to trot. He loved to trot while trail riding, as Chad had such an easy gait. It was very soothing to sit through. Chad stretched his head and picked up the pace so that he was at Elior's face, blowing out of his nose gently.

Celine relaxed in he saddle and loosened her grip on the reins a little, giving Galileo a little freedom. She then looked from one boy to the other as they spoke. Both she and Drew had been down this trail before, but it had been a long time ago and they had been... different back then. "You two better hurry up then." She grinned, urging her horse into a canter as she passed the two.


Lucas Devereux.
"In riding a horse we borrow freedom."
The young man woke early and rolled out of bed, groaning softly as he did so. He pulled on a pair of jeans, a plain grey t-shirt and his working boots. Then, after grabbing something to eat, he headed out to the barn. Ebony seemed to be down by the end of the pasture, and was with an unfamiliar horse. However, Lucas just assumed it was a horse of one of the riders. "Morning, Rebecca." He smiled as he passed Slick and his rider, raising a hand in a sort of wave to the girl.

"A horse is an angel without wings."
Ebony was a little confused for a moment before she realised what he meant. "Let you stay?" She asked, still just a little unsure of what he was talking about, but she answered anyway. "Of course. He wouldn't just chase you off and leave you out in the wild." She snorted, raising her head and resting it on his back.

Drew laughed quietly and pressed Chad into a lope as well. He obliged, extending his legs farther in front of him until he broke into a smooth gait with a three-beat pattern that echoed through the trees every time his hooves hit the floor. The wind blew his hair into his eyes and he pushed it out of the way, though it just blew back. Chad snorted and stretched his neck out, welcoming the smells as he started to catch up with Celine and her horse.
