Knight looked away slightly, "Lost then passed out." Looking in Ebony's eyes, he nickered, "What about you?" Looking over her in the water, he whispered softly, "What would your owner have done to me if he caught me?" He splashed his hoof in the water a little, sending droplets everywhere; including his coat.

Asael watched Celine intently, his eyes glued to the horse and her movements. As they approached the jump he tensed, she was anticipating the jump but lucky for her the horse corrected itself. Asaels gaze did not falter as she carried on her way round, he obviously wanted to throw in some advice but didn't want to distract her or come across as a show off. Instead he just stood in silence monitoring the pair.

Rebecca smiled then nodded, "Sure! I could use a bite to eat." she said looking out toward the house. A slight bit of nervousness hit her stomach as she remembered that dinner probably included Lucas' family. What would they think about an alternative health vet? She pushed her butterflies aside and started to walk out with him.

Drew and Chad

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Drew headed down to the pasture, swinging the halter back and forth. His lips formed a small smile as sweet ol' Chad came into view. The buckskin noticed him but didn't react, just stood there chomping away at the grass. He picked his head up as Drew got closer, still chewing, and several blades of grass hung out of his mouth. Drew smiled a little brighter at his gelding's antics and slipped the rope halter on over his horse's head. Grabbing a bunch of mane, he jumped up, slipped one leg over Chad's back, and slid into the slight dip on the buckskin's spine. Chad was alert now, though not fully; he was smart enough to know that bareback riding meant nothing major. He started into a walk after a bit of coaxing from Drew and together they made their way over to the arena. Drew saw the boy and girl there and stopped to watch, deciding that they'd go trail riding after he'd said hello to his fellow ranch mates.

Celine was soon onto the last jump, annoyed that she had knocked down about three bars. She pulled back on Galileo's reins and jumped down, landing lightly on the ground beside her horse. Taking of her helmet, she untied her vibrant, red hair and let it fall down around her shoulders. "So..." She began, raising a hand to flatten her hair. Unlike some other girls, Celine didn't mind 'helmet hair' that much, but she didn't want to look stupid infront of someone she had just met. Especially a guy. "What'd you think? Pretty bad, huh?" She then looked up as another boy approached with a buckskin horse. "Hi!" The girl called, raising a hand in greeting to the newcomer.


Lucas Devereux.
"In riding a horse we borrow freedom."
"Allons-y." Lucas smiled and gestured for her to follow him towards the house. He stayed quiet as they crossed the yard, wondering whether his father would be in his office or not. Or, whether his mother would be cooking or not. However, the twins weren't as predictable. They could be anywhere in the house.
Holding the door open for Rebecca, he dipped his head to her as she passed and then followed her inside. The hallway was empty, but the sound of the TV could be heard coming from the TV room. "Jean and Eric." The young man explained, gesturing to the open door as they walked past. "My brothers." At the sound of their names, the twins looked around at almost the exact same time, something they had perfected over the years.


Ebony Dreams.

Ebony stiffened as he told her he had passed out. She looked him over once and then took a step closer, pressing her muzzled into his mane. "Are you OK?" She asked, her voice a little muffled by their close contact. He then asked her the question she had been dreading answering: What would your owner have done if he caught me?
The mare stayed silent for a moment, stepping back as she thought this through. She then turned away and made her way up the riverbank and out of the water. "Um... I'm not sure. Tamed you, probably."

Drew and Chad

"Hey!" Drew replied, waving. "Nice jumps," he commented as he got closer, though he had no idea what jumps were supposed to look like. He was a western rider and honestly, couldn't have been sure if knocking down poles was something you wanted to do. The guy hadn't even known about English riding before coming here. Western was all he knew about. Still, Celine and er horse had looked pretty much in-sync while jumping and he figured that was good enough.

Asael smiled "Apart from the anticipating, it was excellent" he said confidently, gesturing with his hands "Don't get too wound up by the fallen poles either, we all knock them down one day or another" he added with a chuckle before his attention diverted to the boy Celine was greeting, his eyes focused on the boy as he Asael waved to him, Eliors head raised as well to study the newcomers, his bright eyes wide and concentrated.

"I haven't seen you around here before," Drew commented as he guided his horse closer to Asael. "My name's Drew. Pretty horse." His dark eyes flickered to Asael's horse and he smiled before sticking out his hand for Asael to shake. "You two look good together."
