Shasta started to walk away, toward the west forest side. She walked slowly, making sure Arizona was comming.

Spirit watched the stallion. "Its not that bad, living alone in the forest." she replied. The stallion was very antsy and she figured he knew she was in heat now.

I look at her getting a little closer "how do you defend yourself? Surely you have family of some sort."
Arizona
"I'm coming I'm coming." I say as I trot up next to my mommy.

"I defend myself like any other lone mare." Spirit told him. She took a step back, knowing what he wanted, but he wasn't going to get it that easy.

Shasta felt bad for leaving Tide. Though, it was not enough to go back to him. She wondered how Moon was doing now, and if she had a foal. She looked at Arizona, "Did I ever tell you that you and Autumn have an older sister?" she asked, trying to get Tide off her mind and off of Arizona's mind too.

I step back seeing I was making the mare uneasy.I nod "that's good to hear you can defend yourself,we need more mares like that in the herd."
Arizona
My eyes widened with surprised "we do!? What's her name!?" I asked excitedly.

Jessie grinded her teeth for a bit, then grabbed Elvira's halter and put it on the mare. She raised an eyebrow questioningly at her. She grabbed her lead and hooked it to the halter. Slowly, she lead her out and into the pasture, where she unlocked the lead.
