Autumn raced after her sister. She streatched out her neck, trying to nip her sisters rump, but tripped in a small hole in the ground. She tumbled several times and landed in a muddy patch.

Shasta felt pride. She stepped closer to Tide and nuzzled his neck.

Halia curled up on the couch, watching TV. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes and yawned, closing her eyes for a second. The silence in the cabin and the soft sound of the TV was starting to lull her back to sleep.

Shasta watched the foals play. "Shes energetic!" she commented.
