Atticus Lawrence

Atticus relaxed a little, his body lowering in tenseness as he looked down and slightly nodded. "I'm sorry too." He said in the slightest whisper, almost as if he was speaking to himself. A short moment of silence later Atticus looked back up at Rio, not so much of an worried expression anymore. He did look stressed and tired, but if you'd look closely there was almost a small hint of a smile in his eyes. Perhaps it was the fact that he was happy to have Rio back in his house, at least for this short while. "Why don't you take some time for a drink. The children will meet us in just a moment. Give you some time to take a few minutes to relax as we confront this situation of the run-away children coming to my house." Atticus started to walk alongside Rio further into the house heading for a room that almost resembled a small café. Like a tiny kitchen. He chuckled lightly. "Out of all places, they end up here."

Atticus went behind the marble counter and reached over to the cupboards opening them to take out two tall clear glasses. He set them down on the counter and then added ice which was in a metal bucket holder. He studied the bandages around his hands almost forgetting that they were there. "I don't drink..I'm not aware if you have a poison or not...?" He asked Rio carefully as he looked up at her again.

Daimein Oclan

This was the first time that Daimein had ever heard or seen Kenji cry. A rare moment indeed. All that Daimein knew or cared at this point was that he needed to be there for her. To support her. He wanted for her to depend on him for moments like this, even if it was the only thing that she would need to depend on him, it was enough. Daimein wrapped his arms around Kenji holding her close to him, feeling her cold tears drop against his skin. Breakpoint. He knew that she might feel a bit embarrassed about her reacting like this later on, he wouldn't bother her about it, as long as she turned out okay, got back up on her feet. "You're okay. It'll all be fine.." He said softly to her. "Just let it pass and soon it will all be over. Everything is going to be okay"

{OOh, that's a fun idea. We should have the kids accidently break something XD Then they'd could have to come back and work around Atticus' house to pay for it or something. This would be Andy who volunteers them to do so XD I don't know, it sounds fun to me. What do you guys think?}

Hana giggled as Max began speaking quickly, but she, as before, said nothing. Only this time a smile as on her face. She glanced up at Andy for a moment, before moving her gaze back to the self-named Captain Terror.

Andy noticed the young boy speaking rather quickly, and he muffled a small chuckle. The tall, tattoo armed teen leaned down a bit, "Hi, I'm Andy." He began, "This is Hana. She doesn't talk, but she has other ways of speaking." He said simply. He then looked over to see Halley talking to Grace. He gave another glance to Hana, and smiled a bit before he walked over toward Halley and Grace. "Hello, I'm Andy."

Kurai had left the two girls locked in their room and went out to get some supplies, like food. After all he didn't want those two girls to die. Though a man such as Kurai, a 6 foot 2, dirty blonde, muscular guy, shopping at a grocery store was probably a little unexpected sometimes, but he's human too.
"Hmmm..." Kurai muttered while bringing a hand up to his mouth and rubbing his small beard. He hadn't shaved in a while, so he had grown a small, close-to-face beard. He was having a hard to time trying to figure out what kind of food to get. It didn't help that he was pretty tired already. He shrugged and started picking things up and putting them in the small basket he was carrying. He turned a corner and ran into a boy. The boy was pretty scrawny, and kind of short too. He was only about five foot six. "Sorry, kid." Kurai muttered, sleepily looking down at the boy.

Bear was rummaging through a store, hoping to find the things his mom wanted. Though the brunette wasn't having much luck. Walking quickly he turned a corner and ran into a tall man. It wasn't enough to knock him back, so he was still pretty close to the man. "I'm sorry. It was my fault, sir." He said, looking up at him but he didn't back up. Bear was still really close to the man. "Oh, sorry." Bear said, after realizing that he was staring at the man.

"It's fine." Kurai said and went to move to the left and go around the boy, but the boy had the same idea. They both ended up doing this for a few times. The apologizing each time.

"I'm so sorry." Bear said, getting more embarrassed.

Kurai actually chuckled a bit, "It's fine." He said and grabbed the boy by the shoulders and gently moved him to one side, while he stayed on the other. "There. All better." Kurai said, and managed to give a small tired smile to the boy.

Bear jumped a bit when the man grabbed his shoulders and moved him, "Yeah, thanks." He said, and also gave an embarrassed smile to the man before the man continued walking. Bear was so flustered he couldn't move.

Rio Cassely

Rio had looked down again, after Atticus apologized. A little moment later she looked up and could see the slight smile behind his stressed and weary eyes. Rio nodded to Atticus, "Okay.." She said softly before beginning to walk alongside of Atticus. They walked to a cute little room that resembled a cafe type place. It was nice, and quaint. Rio smiled a bit when Atticus chuckled and mentioned their coming here, over somewhere else.
Rio was looking around the room with her eyes as Atticus poured ice in the cups, she looked back when he spoke. "Oh, no. I only drink wine, and that's only on occasion." She said, "I don't want to be even the slightest bit tipsy in front of the kids." She joked and chuckled a bit. Her eyes fell to the glasses, and noticed the bandages on his hands. Her eyes shot up to his, "Atticus, what happened?" She said gently taking one of his hands and studying it. "Are you alright? What did you do?" She asked, rather concerned, her eyes went back up to his.

Kenji had buried her face in Daimein's chest, by his neck. She felt so pathetic. When he wrapped his arms around her, she tightened her grasp on Daimein. Even someone like Kenji had times when they needed to be comforted. She felt safe in his arms. Something she had only felt a few times before, by a very few people. Once when she was five, and another time when she was 12, the times when she was hugged by Atticus, and the times she was in Daimein's arms. Still, Kenji felt weak and pathetic every time. After Daimein spoke, Kenji's crying was coming to an end, slowly but it was.
Once she had almost completely stopped crying, she moved her head up on Daimein's shoulder. Resting her chin on his shoulder and her head on his, but still looking down slightly. "I'm sorry, Daimein..." She said softly, "I'm sorry you had to see me like this." A few last tears fell from her eyes, rolling down Daimein's back. "I'm so pathetic and weak..."

Mouth sat down on an apartments front steps with a soda he had gotten from a store giving then out for free. He ran one hand through his hair, took a sip, and sighed with a smile. A cute girl passed by and he whistled at her, making her roll her eyes.

He smiled back at her, and then looked as the tattooed kid leaned down. "Oh.." Max said before looking at Hana after Andy wandered off. "Wanna go explore around the castle? We might find treasure! Of course, we can't take it. It's not ours..." Max pouted for a second before looking at Hana with a hopeful expression.

Getting kind of hungry, she got up and left the empty warehouse. She hooked the leash on Cub and the medium sized mutt gave her a big toothy dog grin. Smiling, she scratched him behind the ears. Making sure she had a notebook and pen in her satchel bag. She lead Cub out the door and wandered, looking for a food place she could afford with 5 bucks. Apparently, Cub saw something that interested him and dragged poor Dimitri with. Cub stopped to smell this kid sitting on some steps. Dimitri pursed her lips in frustration.
