Natalie froze when she heard somebody in this alley. It only confirmed her suspicions. The girl slowly rose her knife to attack position, taking a step forward. Then another. She narrowed her eyes and tried to find the source. After about a moment of silence, the teenager made out a shape. It was blurry at first, but soon turned out to be a person. Starting out slowly and quietly, Natalie began to creep closer. Then, she ran at the target- behind them, actually- and didn't make contact with them, but did hold her knife positioned to plunge into their throat if she felt threatened. but, they had plenty of room to turn around and face her. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" she questioned fiercely, an Australian accent gracing her voice.

Scarlet spun around to see another girl, She pulled out her own knife and held it out ina ttack position

"Mind your own business!" She hissed

Natalie narrowed her eyes, slowly moving her knife so it was up against the other girl's knife. It was positioned to stop an easy hit on her. In spite of her speaking, Natalie didn't directly respond to that. "A kitchen knife? Really?" she hissed, placing an evil giggle in between her statements. "I don't picture that giving you much defense, chika."

Scarlet was having second thoughts, she had no idea how to defend herself! So she turned and ran, as fast as she could, and she didn't stop untill she reached another Alley near a house, this time she stood a little bit out from the alley

Alex stepped casually out of the store, carrying a snack bag of Lay's and a Snickers bar. He had five dollars left, but he was saving it for a knife or a pistol or something. If he just didn't eat anything or buy anything for the rest of the year, he might have enough. There were tons of people flooding the sidewalks, so he veered down an alleyway and climbed up an emergency fire escape ladder to the roof of an apartment building. From there he jumped across the town on the roofs of the city.

Natalie chased after the girl about ten feet, and then got bored. What would be the point? Kill her? Natalie wouldn't do that... by choice or for the thrill of it, that is. So, she turned back, rolling her eyes and turning back into the alley. She walked through it, but didn't let go of her knife. In fact, her knuckles were turning white from gripping it so hard. She crept along the sidewalk once more, thinking how fast that whole epidemic went. Wimpy girl.
