Jasmine opened the door and went to talk to both of Brody's parents...she was nervous and shaking a little. Once she found Linda, Jamsine thnaked her for dinner nad just letting her stay here she tried to make a little conversation but her hsyness ogt the best of her eventually, she just gave up said goodnight to both parents then retreated to her room.

"Um, Bert this is Giovanni, my new friend," Lizzie said, pulling the drunken guy away so that she could hug him. She looked to Giovanni and smiled slightly, having heard what her uncle had said about him. "Uh, would you mind getting us something? Thanks," She said and literally pushed him towards the counter, sighing and looking towards Giovanni. "How come everyone thinks something if I've got a new friend who's a guy?" She wondered aloud, shaking her head and then nodding at what he had said before. "That's good advice you know ..."

Giovanni laughed a little. "Well, do you have a lot of girlfriends? Maybe that could be the reason." He said watching her shove Bert to the counter and he smiled. "And yeah it is, I'm just passing down what I know, to you...but you're welcome." He said.

In the morning, Brody was still sound asleep. The sunlight peeping through the blinds on the windows and it made the room feel very warm and light. He still had his head under the pillow and covers trying to block it out while his mother was in the kitchen cooking breakfast, Leon was still asleep also; both men loved to sleep til late in the afternoon sometimes.

Jasmine woke up a little after Linda did, she dressed in jeans and a tank-top with a jena jacket then walking out oh her room she tied her hair in a ponytail not sure what else to do...she went into the kitchen and immediatly asked linda if she needed help " Can i help you in any way?" By this point Jamsine was desperate to have Brody's mom like her...by just being herself.

Lizzie shrugged slightly, "I guess I kinda do ..." She told him with a sigh, seeing Bert come back with drinks for the both of them and then whispering something to Giovanni that she couldn't hear. "Remember, be nice to 'er and you'll get it," He said then left. Lizzie nodded to Giovanni with a laugh, "Sometimes Bert can be a pain," She told him, noticing the look on his face, but not really knowing why.

Giovanni took the drink from him and looked at Lizzie, he felt a little...weird being told that. Did Bert actually think of her that way or was he just kidding? "Bert must think you're easy." He said finally getting it off his chest.

Linda was too busy scrambling eggs in the pan to realize someone came into the kitchen until she heard Jasmine speak. She turned around and smiled a little, her sundress flowed with her movements. "Oh, yes, of course," She said handing a bowl of batter to her. "Would you mind making the pancakes? I already have the grittle on and ready to go."

"I would love to.." she smiled soflty and set to work on making panecakes, flipping them once the moment was right. Jasmine stayed quite exceppt for an occasional question on where to set the panecakes when they were done and ow many she should make.

Lizzie raised an eyebrow, "What?" She asked him, the joking smile on her face dissappearing. She felt very offended by what Giovanni just said ... especially about the fact that Bert used to be her uncle and was three times her age. "What did you just say? Did you just say that my uncle thinks I'm easy?"

Giovanni sighed. "Well, yeah." He said slowly noticing her smile disappearing but he didn't feel bad about what he said, because well, that's what it seemed. "I mean, he keeps telling me to be nice and I'll get it." He told her, still confused by this whole situation. "I mean...doesn't it seem a little odd that he's saying all this?"

Linda watched her from time to time, wondering about her son's new found love. "I'm sorry...about last night. I know I ask a lot of questions...most of them are not quite at the appropriate time I'm just...trying to get to know you that's all and I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable." She stated putting the eggs of their plates along with a few pieces of bacon.

Lizzie rolled her eyes, "He's drunk, Giovanni ... and besides does it matter if I'm easy or not? I'm pretty sure that's something you could find out soon enough ..." She shook her head, "Anyways, uh, just don't think of it, he's just rambiling on, besides, he bought us drinks didn't he?"
