Charles walked straight forward and ran into a wall. He moaned, turned to the right and ran into another wall, "Okay... So the hall goes to the left..." he said quietly to himself and turned around. Then he kept walking like nothing happened.

Fliss opened her locker and peered inside at her timetable, "Ugh, Chemistry then Maths. I don't know WHY on Earth Mum made me take Chemistry, it's not exactly gonna help me become an actress, is it?" she asked April, flicking her hair in the mirror in her locker and applying some pale pink lipgloss and a touch of mascara. She saw Charles walk into the wall and a small smirk appeared on her face, but she kept her laugh in.

Charles metally went through the list of bad things that had already happened to him that day, "First a bully takes my walking cane. Then that girl tries to make me someone I'm not. I ran into a wall, twice. Now I have no idea where I'm going. This is the worst day of my life."

April nodded her head in agreement to Fliss. Then she saw Fliss smiling at something. She looked back and saw a blind boy hit the wall; he didn't even have his walking cane. She looked at Fliss, "Should we go help him?"

Fliss shrugged, "I guess," she mumbled, walking over to Charles, "The corridor's this way," she turned him to face the way of the corridor, "Okay now?" she asked reluctantly, smiling at April.

Charles sighed, he knew he must look like an idiot. He felt like one, why not look like one. He walked away with a sad expression on his face.
