Nick was surprised himself. Their kiss was like an explosion of fireworks, and all that really mattered was them. His entire body was frozen. Adalynn was magnetic. He couldn't pull away.
Brb taking a nap I'm SO tired brb for like 20 minutes lol.))
It was like they were glued together. She couldn't pull away, even if she wanted to. After a while, she heard a faint snapping. Like a... Twig? Wait, twigs. One after the other. She was almost positive it was just her imagination, but she reluctantly pulled away. No, more like forced herself away.
Nick looked away. Had he heard the twigs? No. All he could hear was his heart beat. Hia face was heating up, too. Nick stood and gently grabbed Adalynn's hand, entwining their fingers, and led her towards the cave. "I think we should get some sleep..." He whispered, voice a little cracked.
AGGGHHHHHHJHJJJJHHHH!!!!!!! MY ALARMMM DISNT WORL AND IT DIDN'T WAKE ME!)
"Yeah, that's sounds like a good idea...," she said, not whispering, but not speaking too loud. Entering the cave, she released her hand from Nick's, and made her way into the tent.
Things were akward now. Maybe they shouldn't have kissed? Did it ruin their friendship? Was it more then friendship now? Nick did not know. Their were two beds in the tent, but Nick didn't know if he should sleep in their aswell as Adalynn. He decided to clean things up a bit first. After a while Nick soon opened his eyes, seeing he was sleeping in the tent. It was still very late. Or, you could say, very very early.
She sat down on the bed, thinking for a bit. After a while, she laid down and turned over, facing away from Nick's bed. A few hours passed, and she still hadn't slept. She hadn't heard Nick enter, either. She just stared at her hands, not really knowing what else to do.
