She looked at Kai, "Okay then." She said softly. She was looking at her hands. Not knowing if she would be able to look at them straight in the eyes when they told their stories.

Andrea sighed, arms folded under her chin as she looked out the window, forehead pressed to the cold glass as voices drafted from nearby, instigating a bit of curiosity, Andrea hopped from the window seat and grabbed her teddy bear, curls bouncing as she landed and began towards the room. Stopping slightly as she saw many of the older children gathered together, Andrea walked around the corner quietly and tugged on the hem of the nearest girls jacket.

"Well, my dad was the first to die. He had cancer from smoking too much. But my mom was murdered. The problem is, no one could have gotten past our dog or me. My older brother actually tried to kill me. I bailed, and lived in a forest for about a year before they found me and I came here." Kai told them.

She could look at Kai because she felt so bad for him. That was so rough and kinda scary. She knew he story was less probably the most less painful story, but it still hurt. "I never knew my parents. I was brought here when I was about eleven months old. Ms. Domo was so horrible and no adopted me because Ms. Domo always made it sound like something was wrong with me. So I was stuck here..."
