Mr. and Mrs. Carter were married for sixteen and a half years. They had six children between the ages of five and sixteen. But four years ago they got divorced, and three years ago they both got re-married.

Mrs. Carter married Mr. Vogue, who had seven children of his own, who were all boys, except the youngest who was the only girl. These children were a nine year old, eleven year old twins, thirteen year old twins, a fourteen year old, and a fifteen year old. The Carter children were certainly not pleased with the change of events, even though they only spent half of their time with their mother.

Mr. Carter, on the other hand, married Ms. Jackson, who only had two children, eight and seventeen. Their house was much quieter, and during the time that the Carter children spent there, they seemed much more pleased. But Mr. Carter and Mrs. Jackson had a child together... who is almost three. This annoyed the other children... but the littlest child was accepted.

What happens in their day-to-day life? How will all of these children and their parents cope? Well let's find out! It's the month of December, and Christmas is almost here... Shopping, family, and tons of other surprises to come.

Alex is definitely a tomboy, she hates all things "girlish" or pink. She loves sports and playing with her older brothers. Though Alex puts up a "tough guy/girl" attitude, she's really very sensitive. She'll throw a punch at anyone who tries to hurt her, or her friends, but anything verbal goes straight to heart. She isn't afraid of most things, but the things that she is scared of frighten her horribly. She tries to act like a boy more than a girl, and she tends to ignore other girsl. At times she'll still use her status of being the youngest and girl to get her brothes in trouble, but most of the time she distances herself as much as possible from it. It's harder because of her step-siblings to pull it off though. If you want to know her secrets you're gonna have to be very close to her, and she never forgets. Nor does she easily forgive.

Personality: Kai is about emo as it comes, with his parents divorced, and any other emotional bouts he has suffered. He doesn't feel pain much, and likes to make things. He really wants to conserve the earth. But, the most important thing you should know about Kai is he's quiet. He doesn't mean to be, but his walking makes virtually no sound. If someone is getting abused, he'll help, but he always leaves. Kai will distrust virtually anyone, and doesn't like to talk much. He wasn't always exactly like this. It was somewhere around right before his parents got divorced when it first started. He neglects anyones help, even with the smallest of things. Doesn't have a short fuse, but is easily offended, and very defensive. Kai likes his dad's new house better than his moms, not because of the amount of children, but rather the fact there are more places to hide. And the attic, because since the divorce Kai really has liked reading. He also likes that they have a forest right behind the forest equipment.
Kai's really quick to judge, but he's no fool. He knows not to place people in categories, and is usually right when it comes down to it.
