She raised an eyebrow. "You might as well? You don't want to?!" She feigned sadness.

Adam shrugged, "I don't know, I mean, with some girls I do, but...." He trailed off, almost angry at himself for making her sad.

"Gee. Thanks." She said in a sour sarcastic tone before walking out the door, but not shutting it.

Adam ran to her, spinning her arund to face him. Their faces were only cm's apart and he could smell the mintyness of her breath, he sighed, "I'm sorry, I don't know why, but I kind of see you as a friend more than a girlfriend and it's hard to break that."

A lump rose in her throat. Without saying a word, she broke his grip on her wrist and walked to her dorm, a couple of corridors away.

Adam sighed dissapointedly and turned to shut the door, he decided to go to the airport early and so he got his things and walked out of the door.

Kayt sat in the dorm flicking through a magazine. She knew Adam was coming back today and she needed to speak to him urgently.

Adam walked into the school happily, he had a new baby boy, Jack. The mother had to stay in San ransisco but would visit with the baby in a few weeks.
