Aidan looked at Desire when she said that. It was true, he didn't know if this kitten was like other cats. However, he still wasn't willing to take any chances. This was something that his paranoia didn't allow him to surpass. As she asked him a question, he thought for a minute about his response. "Hm, I guess I'd say the only other animals that I like are birds, and dogs." Aidan told her thinking that this was probably what she mean by it. She seemed to be asking quite a bit of questions about him. He didn't find anything wrong with her trying to understand him better. Opening the car door on the passenger side, he waited for her to get in.

Heading into the elevator at the end of the hall, Melody stepped inside and watched the doors close behind her. The motion of the elevator heading down felt weird as she wasn't too use to elevator's in the first place. Once it had hit the main lobby and the doors slid open, she stepped out and walked to the dinning hall and went right over to the bar stand. She looked at the bartender cleaning some glasses then asked for two cans of beer. When the bartender asked her if she was 18, Melody lied and said she was. She didn't look like her age which was a good thing on her part but it always made adults ask if she was younger than she looked. As she received them, she headed back to the elevator and to the room once again.
Gidget flinched back when Starke put his hand down to his level. The cat looked at his hand then sniffed it, his whiskers touching his skin slightly. Opening his mouth, he yawned then put a paw on the hand. He pawed at him for a while before rubbing his cheek against his fingers. Without warning, Gidget stopped rubbing against his hand and nipped it, not hard but enough to be felt. He wasn't really being aggressive just showing that he didn't really know him well enough yet and didn't want him to try and pet him. The cat headed off under Melody's bed and watched the boy, his golden eyes the only thing visible through the darkness.
