Mel looked at him with raised eyebrows. "Doesn't seem like it," she commented. She only shook her head and shut the door behind her, setting her keys down on the nightstand that was next to her bed. She shrugged off her jacket and tossed it to the end of her bed, pulling her cellphone out of her pocket. "What do you want to order?"

Joshua sighed, waking up and heading downstairs after refreshing himself. His parents were gone and he was an only child. He snorted and went out to the mailbox and got the mail, as well as the newspaper. Joshua sat at the kitchen table and shuffled through the letters, stopping when a rather formal letter with his name on it in neat print-cursive handwriting. He opened it and read it, raising his eyebrows. This could be interesting. Shrugging, he went to his room and packed.

Jax nodded and pulled a chair out for himself, sitting down quietly. His eyes glazed over with hunger as he eyed the delicate food. He smiled back at Codee, cheeks raised high. He had to admit how odd he was being, not really like his usual self. Normally, Jax would've just ordered some take-out food and watched T.V with her, but Codee seemed different, although she appeared to be his opposite. "I'd beg to differ, she can't be this cool and be my opposite." He thought, dozing off for a brief moment. Jax's personality complex revolved around his image of being 'cool'. And if this girl shattered that, he wouldn't hesitate to snap at her. Come to think of it, Jax realized just how cold he really was. When a bum asked for money out on the street, he would walk by casually, not even glancing in the rugged mans direction. Or the last girlfriend he just had around. She would always want to cuddle and watch chick flicks. Jax refused flatly, dumping her the second she began to complain. He gazed into the flickering flame distantly, taking a deep breath as he came back into the present.

Skylar smiled as she was told her pair's name."Joshua." She thought, sauntering into the elevator. After a moment of happy show tunes echoing from the speakers, Skylar walked out onto the thrid floor, examining the hall with a cat-like smirk. This should be fun. For no imparticular reason, she kicked the door open, setting her single bag on the bed. "Nice," She comented, gazing about the room.

Joshua had finished packing half an hour latee. He had left a note on the kitchen island,.leaving the letter he had received next to it. All he had said in the note was: Well. I've been Paired. Can't say I'll miss you. With that, he had taken his things and left, feeling no guilt for that note. Why should he? His parents hadn't given a damn about him since he became old enough to have common sense and take care of himself. Finally reaching the place where he would meet his Pair, Josh got out and went inside, greeted by an Official. "I'm Joshua Henderson...I received a letter telling me I was Paired.." he said. The Official nodded and told him he was Paired with some girl Skylar and what their room number was. He simply nodded and thanked her, before he headed to the elevator, until he finally got to the room. Josh let himself in and saw that Skylar had already arrived and chosen her side. He silently walked to the empty bed, dumped his stuff there, and turned, facing her. "I'm assuming you're Skylar. Either that or I have walked into the wrong room somehow."

Skylar turned around to face him, a hand extended. She wore a baggy grey shirt, much to big for her curved figure. The sleeves dangled over most of her hand, the bottom of it hanging over her hips. "Yup. And if you're Joshua, then I guess we're all set. Nice to meet ya roomie." She replied with a goofy smile. Shards of streetlight streaked across the cream colored room, most of it cutting through the shaggy strands of hair hanging from her head.

As Desire walked through the door and a faint thank you followed right after, Aidan smiled to her. It was a little too low for him to completely understand what she said but after a quick thought he understood. "Oh no problem." Closing the door behind him, he walked to Desire's side as they headed to the elevator. "Oh. You have a car? If so then which do you feel more comfortable taking? Yours or mine?" Aidan was just being sure that Desire would feel safe since she was acting a little weird at the moment.

It made him wonder if he had done something that bothered Desire. Aidan let that run out his mind for now to listen to her response. She deserved to make a decision first before any action was set in place. Keeping his distance from her and the cat, Aidan left a good about of space between them so if the kitten decided to wake up, she wouldn't be able to touch him in anyway. He was pretty paranoid about it.

Seeing Karson finally look up to her, Willow wondered what he was going to do or say about her laughing. As she listened to his story, her hand slid off her mouth and she seemed to feel a bit guilty for laughing now. Now understanding what was with the drink choose, she started to apologize pretty sincerely. "I'm sorry Karson, I had no idea. I-I didn't know. If I did I never would have laughed. Forgive me .... you probably must hate me for laughing about such a thing. I completely understand that ...." With a light sigh, Willow shook her head at her response then looked from him to the wine glass. She ran her finger around the rim of the glass. "So you have a brother .... I had one as well before the incident ... What's he like?" She started to show a little interest in Karson's family life now knowing a little bit more about her pair now. He still seemed like a mystery to her and she wanted to learn more about him.

As she waited for his response, Willow picked up the glass and drank the rest of the wine that remained in it. Taking the wine bottle out of the bucket of ice, she opened it, after a little bit of a struggle with the cork, and poured till the glass was filled once again.

Once she and Aidan had arrived at the hotel, Melody stepped out the car holding the cat carrier then retrieving her two bags from her brother. As they both walked inside an official arrived and she listened as they told Aidan his pair's name, his room number and handed him his key card. When the official arrived to her, they stated her pairs name and that sent a thought in her mind. What a interesting name Starke was. Was her pair interesting also or like every other guy she had ever met. Shrugging the thought off, she listened more for her room number and then took her key from the official. Melody looked form the official to Aidan and saw his expression. She rolled her eyes knowing that he was being that annoying protective brother again and that more than likely he wanted to see Starke before he. As he departed off into one of the elevators, Melody set off to the one next to it and stepped inside. Already she was getting a bit bored with this.

Hitting the button to her floor, she watched the floor numbers change and listened to the corny elevator music that was playing. Shaking her head, she felt the cat carrier moving around and heard Gidget's meows coming from inside. "Relax, we're almost there. You'll have your freedom soon." She told the cat in a very sweet voice. When the elevator stopped and the doors opened, she stepped out grabbing the suitcase handle and adjusting the other bag over her shoulder, Melody walked out and down the hallway to the room. Unlocking and stepping inside the room, she went to one of the beds and set her suitcase down. Putting the carrier down on the bed, she opened it and instantly Gidget darted out glad to be free again. She picked a empty spot close to the bed and set the other bag down, unpacking that first which was all cat things. Melody set that up and once down moved the carrier under the bed and plopped down. With a sigh, she stared at the ceiling that was a blank white then looked to the side where the other bed lied. Petting Gidet, Melody smiled. "Don't you wonder what this guy will be like?" She said to the savannah cat and got a meow in response.

Joshua smiled, taking her hand and shaking it. "Well then. Nice to meet you, Skylar," he said, before he released his grip on her hand. "You can call me Josh or Joshua. I honestly don't care," Josh told her, sitting down on his bed. "But...I think this is going to be an interesting Pairing..."

Desire walked next to Aidan, scolding herself mentally. Desire, you idiot, stop acting this way. He'll just start suspecting something's wrong. You were able to keep what was going on at home hidden during school for the past four years, so stop. Act normal. Desire shook her head free of the thoughts when she heard Aidan speaking. "What? Oh. We can take your car..." she said, sounding a bit more confident than earlier.

She smiled back at Jax, wondering what he was thinking. She looked again at the plates taking a small bit from each. There wa a lot of food so she tried to try a bit from each. She smiled as it felt like the food was melting in her mouth. She was satisfide with all the food. She looked up at Jax from the food and swalloed what was in her mouth. "So do you like the food, Jax?" She waited for an answer. 'I guess we are completely opposite, but why do we seem to get along right now?' she thought to herself.

Starke|Paired W/ Melody
Starke walked through the front doors of the hotel, he saw an offical walking straight up to him. He listened as she told him the name of his match. 'Melody" He repeated in his head. It was a pretty name, he started to wonder whta she was like. He tuned in again in time to hear his room and floor. He took the key from the offical and headed to the elevator, he walked in as soon as it opened. He leaned against the wall and clicked his floor buttom. He waited for the doors to open on his floor. He waited as the elevator slowly stopped and the foors opened, he walked out and looked down the hall to see his room. He walked to the door and inserted the key, stepping into the room.

Aidan heard the sudden change in Desire's tone and guessed he didn't do anything at all that effected her too much. "Well alright then." He said and made his way to the elevator. Waiting for Desire to get in, he pushed the main lobby button and waited for the slow moving elevator to reach it. Hearing the ding, the doors opened before them and he stepped out, walking to the doors. Once he reached it he held it open for the girl once again.

As Melody laid on the bed not really paying attention to anything that was happening, she heard hissing and looked at Gidget. She wondered what was setting the cat off and looked at the door hearing it opening. Sitting up quickly, she tilted her head to the side in wonder. Was this Starke walking in? See saw Gidget jump off the bed and arch his back as he ran towards the opening door. "Gidget, relax ..." She told the anxious cat so he would up and attack Starke.

For the moment she just waited for him to enter. Melody did wonder what this guy looked like and what his personality was also. Many questions ran through her mind that it seemed to be overwhelming. If he tried anything funny or did something that set her off, she was sure to speak her mind.

He heard a hissing sound through the door but continued in anyways, the sound only made him wonder. He opened the door fully and stepped in, "Hello?" He questioned. Then he looked down and saw a cat hissing with an arched back. He just stood there and stared at the cat, it looked a little visious. "Um.. could you like... Unsick your cat on me?" He asked in a nice maner hoping the cat wouldn't jump on him and start clawing at his face.

Melody looked at the boy come into the room. He wasn't half bad looking but still he didn't attract her in the least bit. She watched as he spoke then looked down to Gidget. He didn't seem to be scared of him which was a good thing and when he spoke again, Melody smirked. "Alright Gidget. Calm down." She said and the savannah cat stopped his hissing. He walked back over to Melody and rubbed against her leg before sitting down and looking at Starke. He wasn't a bad cat just a bit of a protective one. Don't worry about him. He may seem like an aggressive cat but he really isn't if you get to know him." She told him just so he would fret about possibly getting clawed when his back was turned. "So you're my roommate, right? Starke?" Melody asked, her tone showed some interest in it. Brushing a strand of her burgundy-brown hair out her face, she placed her chin in her hands, her elbows resting on her crossed legs.
