.Henry.
I groaned and slammed the alarm clock down as it screamed in my ear. I'd fallen asleep sprawled out across the bed, a leg and an arm dangling off either side. When I hit it, the alarm clock shut up, and I sat up groggily. It was still dark outside and I groaned again. First day of school- oh joy. I got dressed in some jeans, a belt, a t-shirt, and a hat (like the one in the pic on the first page), then headed downstairs. Aunt Debbie was already gone, so I made myself some toast, grabbed my skateboard, and headed out, shouldering my bag.
lilt verb \ˈlilt\ to move musically or lively.
"life, believe, is not a dream
so dark as sages say;
oft a little morning rain
foretells a pleasant day.
sometimes there are cloud of gloom,
but these are transient all;
if the shower will make the roses bloom,
oh why lament its fall?"
