Mariah turned off her phone & put it in her purse. She took out her wallet & handed it to him. "Can you just get the food? & we'll eat in the car?".

Luke looked at her. "What is wrong with you? You have been acting weird since the ultra-sound."

Mariah rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry", she paused. "Didn't know I was supposed to be all sunshine & roses when I just found out I'm 4 months pregnant", she started to get upset.

Luke began getting agitated. "You know it really isn't your fault. I am the one that needs to worry. Now, should I go back to Washington, thousands of miles away? Abandon you?"
