Jake grabbed a very long rope and ran back, he lowered it into the hole "You got it?" he asked.

The rope fell about two feet away from me and I took hold of it, getting a good grip. "Got it!"

"Good." Jake started pulling the rope up as she held on.

The thick rope burned my hands a little, but I held on. At the last second, where my head peeked over, my hands slipped and I fell again. I hit the ground with a thud and I groaned in irritation.

Jake looked back down at her "Lets try that again shall we?" he threw the rope down.

I held tightly until I was high enough to hold onto the ground where Jake was. My hands searched for something to grab onto the help me up.

Jake grabbed her hand and pulled her up so she could not fall then when she was up on safe ground he let go.
