A wry, weak smile curved my lips and I closed my eyes.

Ashton watched and stayed by her side.

:Juliet:

I woke up a while later to another searing pain in my side. It hurt so badly! I grimaced. "Why would someone do this?" I murmured, mostly to myself.

Ashton was still there beside her he was looking around thinking.

:Juliet:

I still held his hand. I looked over at him with curiosity, though still in pain. "What are you thinking about?"

Ashton looked back at her he had not known she was awake "Who did this to you." he paused "How do you feel?"

"I feel awful and I don't know." my face twisted into a pained frown. "Why would someone do this?"

Ashton shook his head " I dont know." he rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb "But when I find them I shall skin them alive." he muttered.

"No," I said softly, looking into his eyes. "No, there will be no bloodshed over this. I'm just one person, and a peasant at that. Please, don't hurt someone."
