Ashley ignored Holly, even though she had heard her. "Nothing... Just was kind of relaxing." Austin muttered as his head started to hurt from all the noise. Ashley 'nodded understandingly', not seeming to get the message. "I know, it's so peaceful today!"

[lilt]

:Holly:

Irritated, I told Blondie, a little louder, "Hey Blondie, can you tell your crew to quiet down? Austin's head hurts..." I glanced at Austin. Oh crap. I'd called her Blondie to her face. This might be bad.

[surreal adventure]

Ashley's face went red as her gaze shifted to Holly, glaring. "What did you just call me?" Austin sighed, burying his head in his hands; this would suck.

[lilt]

:Holly:

My mind scrambled for an answer. "I said Ashley." oh crap. This wasn't gonna end well.

[surreal adventure]

"No-no you didn't. You called me Blondie." Her face went even redder and she kept glaring at Holly, waiting for whatever cruddy excuse she could come up with. Austin ran a hand through his hair and looked at the grassy ground. "I-I think she said Ashley..." He muttered helplessly. If things got worse, he'd have to stand up more for Holly, but this really wasn't his fight. And he was starting to get a large headache. He sighed, not feeling up to this.

[lilt]

:Holly:

Instead of making things worse, I stood and said simply, "C'mon Austin." I held my hand out to help him up. He didn't look like he felt well and I didn't want to fight. 'Blondie' had just slipped out from habit, not because I'd wanted to annoy her.

Austin sighed and got up, grabbing Holly's hand. "Thanks." He murmured to her. He turned to Ashley and waved. "Bye." He said, walking off with Holly. She stared at them in disbelief, and so did her whole sorority; Ashley NEVER got ditched.

[lilt]

:Holly:

I still held his hand, feeling oddly triumphant. When we were out of earshot, I murmured to Austin, "I'm really sorry, it just slipped out, I swear."

"It's fine. I really couldn't care less. I think I just need some Advil now." He laughed, wincing as his headache hurt worse. "Can we head back to my dorm?" He paused. "Sorry to make you run around to so many different places today. If you'd rather go back to your own dorm, you can." He suggested.

[lilt]

:Holly:

I shook my head. "I don't mind. Sorry that you have a headache," I apologized as we entered the huge hallways. We began heading for Austin's dorm. "And sorry that I don't ever leave," I added after a moment, a brief smile flitting across my face.
