:Holly:

I smiled when he put his arm around me, then stepped through the door after him. The smell was even better in here! I inhaled again. "Smells good!" we found a seat near the back, then got in line for our burgers.

Soon we had our food (I'd gotten a burger, a chocolate shake and some fries) and were sitting at the table.

Austin had gotten a cheeseburger, his absolute favorite, and a vanilla milkshake. Pretty basic stuff. When they went to sit at their table, he sat across from her and licked his lips. "Yummy." He laughed.

[lilt]

:Holly:

I laughed too. Then I unwrapped the tin foil that encased my burger. Bacon, cheese, beef, mayonnaise. It was the most beautiful sandwich I'd ever seen. I took a bite from it and chewed slowly, savoring it, then swallowed. This was the best burger in the WORLD! I leaned my head back in my seat, eyes closed. "I think I just died and went to Heaven."

Austin laughed. "Burger heaven?" He asked, taking a bite of his own burger. The warm meat with melted cheese enticed his taste-buds that this was a miracle burger and he NEEDED to take another bite. He chewed slowly and swallowed, smiling. "I dunno why, I just like plain old cheese..." He murmured happily, taking another bite.

[lilt]

:Holly:

"Cheese is amazing," I said, sitting back up. Then I took another bite of my burger. There were no words to describe how awesome it was. Yes, it was THAT good. Suddenly, I saw a familiar blonde head a couple booths back. Oh great. Blondie was here now too?

Austin saw her expression change slightly, and followed her gaze; Ashley? Great. Just great. This would just be fun to watch. He grumbled something inaudibly and turned back to his burger, taking another silent bite. Ashley had noticed the two looking at her, just as Austin had looked away, and smirked, turning back to her friends that she was here with. "What a perfect time to be here." She told them, and they all giggled evilly.

:Holly:

I took another bite of my burger nonchalantly. Sure, I wasn't happy about her being here but I didn't wanna make a huge deal out of it. After seeing Austin mad at me yesterday, I'd decided to try to be nicer to Blon- Ashley.

Ashley got up out of her booth, and her trashy outfit was revealed. She was wearing black pumps, with minuscule red roses on them, near the center, and a short black dress. Outside of school, she was known for notoriously being trashy. She sauntered like a superstar over to their table, knowing that she'd stir up a fight. "Hey, you two." She said in a cheery voice, like she hadn't seen them in AGES. "Mind if I join?" She asked innocently.

[lilt]

:Holly:

"Um, well, we're kind of on a date..." I looked up at her cheery face. Her outfit was very...revealing. It didn't look very comfortable, either. Ever heard of jeans and sneakers? Whatever. Anyway, why did she want to cause trouble?

[surreal adventure]

Austin nodded slowly as Holly spoke, but Ashley just shrugged. "I just wanted to catch up. I'm sure I wouldn't be much of a bother, now would I, Austy?" She said, turning her pouty face to him. Austin felt nauseous at the nickname she had given him, but shrugged. "How about we catch up later...?" He suggested politely.

Ashley frowned again, "Oh pleaseeee...." She trailed off in a whiny voice. Austin groaned; the only way to get rid of her was to say yes, wasn't it? "Fine... I guess you could sit down." He mumbled. Ashley smirked and turned to Holly. "Scoot over?" She suggested passive aggressively with a fake smile on her face. Austin mouthed the word 'Sorry' to Holly when Ashley wasn't looking; he wasn't looking forward to this any more than she was.
