Alice clicked to Eclipse urging her into a canter. She tried to convince herself that being alone was better but it was hard. Tears slid down her cheek -alone, alone, alone...- echoed in her mind. With a dead family, no friends, and only two pets for company, she was falling apart. She slid off Eclipse and leaned against a tree sliding down until she was sitting and let her head rest against the trunk tears silently falling down her face. Alice slowly fell asleep....
