Eli looked at the boy when he said his name. For a minute he tried to think of his name, he did seem familiar. Although, Eli was usually bad with names, "You can call me Eli," He smiled lazily, turning the volume on his iPod down so he could hear better, "And you are... Uhm... I know that I know your name," His mind was working slowly at the moment, he was too tired to think straight. Eli thought about it for a few minutes, it was on the tip of his tongue. His eyes lit up as he remembered, "Oh! I know, you're Wyatt, right?" He smiled triumphantly, glad his memory didn't fail him this time. Eli wasn't sure how he knew the boy, he met too many people to remember the places he met them. Most likely he had just seen him around school. Unless the boy partied, too, then Eli probably knew him from that.
The thought of partying made him wish for that cup of coffee. The sooner he wasn't tired, the sooner he could party. He tapped his foot to the song that was playing, messing with the bracelet on his wrist. The song came to an end, and the next one didn't start. He looked down at his iPod, which was now out of battery. He sighed slightly, hoping he remembered to bring his charger. Taking out the headphone in his ear, he put it back in his pocket. Since music was out of the option, he turned to Wyatt, smiling. Even though he was tired at the moment, he'd rather be doing something to keep him awake, and talking usually kept him awake. Although Wyatt did look even more tired than Eli felt, still, though, he'd talk to him, "So, what floor are you on?" He asked, noticing that the boy didn't push any of the buttons when he got on. Eli was only on the third floor. He liked rooms that where higher up than that, he liked the view. Although, he wasn't going to complain, since he probably wouldn't be spending much time in the hotel anyways. He'd only end up using it for when he slept, most likely, unless this trip turned out to be boring, but he highly doubted that would happen.

Wyatt grinned when Elijah - Eli - responded. His grin was so signature, most people would name it as his distinguishing feature; what made him Wyatt. That, and perhaps his hats. "Eli, huh?" He confirmed, his eyes slowly looking at the digital floor numbers and then sliding back over to his classmate. He sensed the boy trying to solve the riddle of who he was, and he beamed when he came up with the answer. "That's right. I think we had a class together, for, like, a day, and then my schedule changed." Which would explain why Wyatt only knew him as Elijah. Aside from the class, Wyatt had definitely seen him around the halls before.

Without actually answering, Wyatt just pointed to the lit up number '3'. "I'm thinking about trading rooms, though. I'd rather be higher up." He looked up to the ceiling for emphasis. Really, he just liked riding on elevators. And this was such a large, lavish hotel that this elevator would go on forever if you'd let it. A little childish, perhaps, but Wyatt was only an adult legally, in age.

Eli smiled at Wyatt, not really remembering him from the class, but that was okay. He was just glad he had actually remembered his name. Eli watched him point to the '3', smiling a bit, "I'm on floor three, too," He listened as he said he wanted to trade rooms. Eli kind of did too, but part of him didn't really care. The higher floors where his favorites, but he could deal with floor three. Besides, if he really wanted to get a good view, he could go up to the rooftop. He wondered what the roof was like on the hotel, if it was bare and empty, or possibly like a garden. He knew some lavish places made their roofs fancy. Why? He'd never know, but he still thought it was pretty cool.

Eli nodded his head, "Yeah, I'd rather be higher up, too. I like the views from higher rooms, but I probably won't be spending much time in my room anyhow, so I guess it doesn't matter." The elevator dinged, the doors opening to floor three, "Well, this is our stop." He smiled, grabbing his bag and waiting for Wyatt to go first. Eli always did that, not out of kindness, but just because he liked being last out the door. Especially if there where a lot of people crowding out of a place. Like in school, when the bell rang and all the kids squeezed past each other to get to the parking lot or the buses. Eli would wait in the hall until they cleared out, knowing that if he didn't wait too long then the buses would still be there, "What room are you in?" He looked at his own key, the number '22' written on it in fancy golden print.

Madison can be very stubborn and a lot of the time doesn't think before she speaks or think before she acts. Madison can also have a bad temper, so she's not a person to reckon with. Once she's mad, she can be very nasty, even though it can be towards her loved ones. Madison is a person that speaks up for herself and doesn't let anybody walk over her. She is mischievous and she is a daredevil, viewing life as too short for caution. But she wont do anything stupid or very risky. Madison is a very comfortable around guys, being able to easily talk to any guys, and she can also be a big flirt when she wants to be. She is not a shy person at all, but it might take a while for him to warm up to people before he trusts them. Madison is very loyal to his friends and family, and is a very trust-worthy girl, even though many of the times she feels misunderstood by people.

Wyatt grinned when Eli had said he was on the same floor. That meant that he could go bother him if he was ever bored, and they’d see each other in the hallway; he always liked seeing familiar faces. Plus, maybe this little elevator ride together would be a gateway to a friendship, and Wyatt wouldn’t have to wander the city alone. He mentally sighed again that he was only on the third floor and that the trip in the elevator had been so short. He grabbed the handle of his suitcase and ran his fingers under the strap of his backpack as he passed by Eli and through the door.

Wyatt turned around to face the other boy, walking backwards as he did. “Well, your reason for wanting a higher floor is way better than mine,” he chuckled. At the question, he brought the key in front of his eyes to examine it. “25,” he answered, hand dropping. “You?” He didn’t understand the organization behind the way the school had booked the rooms. He knew that some kids were up at the top floor, some in the middle, and here he was so close to the bottom. Did they even try to keep them together? Not that Wyatt was complaining about the poor supervision.

Deciding that it was a better idea to just take the book out and finish it at home, Tom fished his library card out of his pocket and headed over to the desk. Despite there being very little line-up, most people were still using the self-checkouts, which he felt was a bit odd; why would you want to wait so long when there's people ready to help you? Shrugging, he handed the book and his card to the girl behind the counter, before taking them both back, thanking her, and leaving.
On the way back to his flat, he saw a flood of kids standing outside one of the hotels, and then remembered. Right. A bunch of schoolchildren were coming to stay for a couple of weeks. Forgot about that. Hopefully, they won't make too big a mess. Stepping off the curb to avoid being run over by them, he brushed past as best he could, murmuring a quick "Excuse me," when he accidentally bumped into someone. Finally squeezing his way through, the shook his head a few times to get the cloud of voices out of his head, before continuing on at a faster pace.
