Summer in the Big Apple {Open} semi-lit

Skye: With a sigh of happiness, she goes through the glass doors of the hotel. Going up to the lobby desk, she smiles and puts down her bags. "Skye Laina," she says to the person at the desk. She is given a key to the second floor of the hotel in room 43. Picking up her bags, she goes through the elevator, noticing that there are so many people around her age that were at this hotel. They probably should name this place Teenage Haven? She chuckles to herself as she steps off. She arrives at her room, swipes the card, and comes inside to her room.

"Well, uh have a nice day I guess." Ash smiled and walked out the elevator. He stepped into the lobby and went out the door. Along the side of the hotel, there was his new cab to start his job. He had gotten the key to the car earlier. He got in the car and found a note which read:

"Here are some directions:
Let in people who yell "TAXI!"Or have their thumb out.
It costs 3 dollars per mile for each ride.
Use the calculator in the glove box to calculate all purchases.
DO NOT deny anybody, who needs a cab. NO MATTER WHAT.
Be friendly, and do not offend customers.
Drive well, we have a "How's My Driving" bumper sticker on the back of the car.
You will get payed every 2 weeks if you come down to the cab office on 24th street.
DO GOOD!

Ash read carefully, and began his job.

Stephanie:
"Yea, I guess so." She said, walking out of the elevator. Seeing that everyone seemed to go their separte ways, she figured they were going to work. "Figures, on of the couple days I don't work, everyone else does." She said outloud as she began to walk outside. It was a nice day, so she figured she might as well walk around the city.

Skye: She puts down her heavy bags and looks around the spacious room. There are two beds, a TV, a small kitchen and bathroom. She always liked small spaces. Going to the window, she had a nice view of the buildings and the streets. She went away from it, and slid into one of the beds. She was awfully tired, and she needed some sleep. After all, she didn't have to start auditioning for the next Broadway play until tomorrow morning. She smiles to herself before drifting off to sleep.

"Alrighty, I guess I better get goin'." Ash said as he started the car. He drove around a little bit, until he saw someone stick out their thumb and scream, "TAXI!" Ash pulled over and let them in. They seemed very upset, and like they were having a bad day. Most of the time they were on their cell phone, and Ash couldn't wait to get the costumer out of the car. She payed him 12 dollars and was on her way. Ash took a break and went to Mcdonalds, being the slacker he was, he stopped working for the rest of the day and figured that it didn't really matter. He went back to the hotel and hopped in the elevator.

Stephanie:
Before she even made it two feet out the door, she turned back around. There was just two many people. Just barely making it into the elevator before it closed, she turned and looked at Ash. "So we meet again." She said. Of course she knew who he was, she always remembered everyone. It was one of the few good things she could do.

Skye: She wakes up a half hour later, feeling refreshed. She knew that it was weird that she could be fine on such low sleep levels. She gets up and decides to go around and see who is around. Grabbing her key, she puts on a pair of flip-flops and goes down the elevator. She notices two people talking to each other.

"Oh hey, back so quick?" Ash said nervously. He told himself, this was just a stranger, just a stranger. All you know about her is her name. Don't start acting all rude like you do to all girls.

[A. Ham]

Stephanie:
"Yea, I don't have to work and there are so many people out today. Way to many." she said, smiling. He seemed nervous though. Why was he so nervous? Not like she was going to murder him or anything. It was weird to her.

Skye: Sort of watches the conversation for a minute. Clearly they had to have met before, from what had been said. The guy, whoever he was, seemed nervous. The girl seemed like she was totally in control. She decides to watch from afar before trying to butt into the conversation like she usually did with people. It made her look bad. I'll just find a time to do so she thought to herself.
