Band Camp! [Accepting!!!]

Carlson laughed. "Cool. I've never been very good at playing most instruments but I have trouble reading notes anyways." He smiled. "But yeah, I play guitar. Seems like everyone does these days. My sister plays bass and both of us have learned a number of weird instruments like the ukulele, melodica and ocarina. Not that those come in handy, though."

Fabienne watched a girl walk in and nodded to her then to the other girl in the cabin, before sifting through her bag to find something to read. After finding a book she left the cabin and sat under a tree, reading.

Mason watched as the girl, Taylor, walked away. He could feel the cool breeze ruffling his hair and he sat down. A headache soon took over. Walking inside, he took an Advil and lay down for a nap.

Mitch grinned. So perhaps he could befriend someone here. "I know the feeling," he sympathized "Of all of the instruments I play, I'm the best at the harmonica." Here he laughed at himself. "So you and your sister are in a band together?"

Carlson nodded. "Yeah, we're called Metric Ties. I play the guitar, Fabienne plays bass and sings." he laughed. "and the harmonica is one of my favorite instruments."

Eva scowled as she watched the girl leave. Not even a polite greeting. How rude! She unpacked the last of her belongings and grabbed her violin case. Once she found a shady, solitary spot outside. She readied her instrument and began to play a hauntingly beautiful melody, singing when necessary. She wasn't particularly fond of singing, whether or not she was good at it, but the song wouldn't sound right on it's own.

Mitch was particularly excited by how much they had in common. He hadn't expected much good would come from this camp, but things were certainly looking fantastic. "Sounds interesting," he commented "And techno. Eva and I have a band called Porcelain. We don't have all of the members we should, but we do fine on our own."

Mason shifted positions as if dreaming, though it was an attempt to rid the pounding in his head. He had started feeling a little better since he first fell asleep, but his migraine never quit completely.

Lights listened to them, but was still paying attention to the things around them. She looked at her song book and flipped to one of the un-finished ones and sighed a slightly loud sigh as she thought of more lyrics.
