The doctor sighed,"She is, but I believe it is only temporary. We ran some tests and found that she had been hit in the spine. Luckily though, wih her confirmation, I care to believe it is only temporary. We'll send you home with medication and have her come in for a check up in a week. Otherwise she can go home. Ans I suggest getting a wheelchair as well." And scribbled everything down on a notepad and handed it to Jayson. ((gtg bbl))

Cornelius looked at her and said,"Dads at the hospital, speaking of which, I think you shoukd go to!" And he lifted her up and cradeled her in his arms,"Time for a check up." He moaned.

Scout caughed again, but wrapped her arms around Cornelius without protest. She sighed,"I don't like the doctor..." but yawned. She closed her eyes only to fall into another bit of coughing.

"Let's go."He said wiping off the last tear from his face.

Skylar smiled the best she could, "Okay, it's only a few minutes away by feet, so we should get there before the end of visiting time"

The Doctor put his hand on Jaysons shoulder and smiled,"You have one good daughter sir," and smiled,"She woke up in the ambulance, and she was saying how it hurt, but it always led back to "Wheres John? where is my little brother?" And I gott hand it to her, that was tough..." He clapped it a bit,"You should be very proud of her, and probably show her your son to reassure her... She should be able to go in the morning, but we'll keep her the night for a just in case." and smiled and turned and walked away..

Taylor lay in her bed and was smiling softly, but her distant eyes said she was remembering John and how he only wanted to visit his parents.

Scout continued to caught on and off as Cornelius carried her. The rain had stopped and the sun was lightly coming over the trees, almost sundown. It was only saturday and yet everything was going wrong...Scout felt overwhelmed, but couldn't think straight through the caughing and the burning sensation in her throat.

Ben continued to sit down in the waiting room, waiting to hear word from his father. He thought, I am going to sue the crap out of that lady who hit Taylor...I am studying to be a lawer, so mine as well put it to some use...Ben knew though that the kind hearted Taylor wouldn't let him get too far with it, wouldn't let him beleve that it was the drivers fault. She would take the blame, but this time Ben didn't want to let her..
